鬧中取靜的酒店，在集美學村附近。前一天在廈大附近定了一個LOFT，結果環境太差，衹有一個衞生間，而且一晚上瘋狂跳閘。臨時攜程上找到了這家。
酒店房間不小，估計得有快30平，是老式裝修風格但很乾凈整潔，向陽麪窗户外還種有三角梅。辦理入住的前台小姐姐在春節遊客暴多的情況下，還給我們安排了兩個挨着的房間（●v●）
我們帶了長者出行，隨身帶了簡易輪椅🦽不過在前兩天輪椅一個螺絲掉了，怕之後兩天不安全，就抱着試一試的心態找到了酒店前台。前台瞭解後，通知了工程部經理（好像姓徐），經理帶着我們下去工具間給安好了螺釘，還給我們了另一套作為備用。非常人善耐心！

The location is perfect if you are visiting Jimei University. It is just beside the gate. In front of the hotel is Wanda Mall.
The hotel serves good breakfast. They change the menu of the main dishes everyday. There are about 4 vegetables and one meat that changes every day. They also serve good noodles.
The hotel has a laundry room. You can wash your clothes for free. The food in the mini bar are all free. They provide drip coffee and leaf tea in the room.
The staff are helpful. My aircon won't cool and they went to my room immediately at 3am to change the settings. I highly recommend this hotel.

過年去廈門玩，選擇在集美住。這家酒店位置離嘉庚先生紀念館和鰲園、故居等都不太遠。房間比較小，除了床，幾乎沒太多空間，設備還是可以的，有智能馬桶，淋浴的水量充足，稍微水温有點不穩定。吃東西要去到小食街走路大概十多分鐘。樓下有自助洗衣，就是洗衣機太少了要排很久隊。洗手池的清掃還需要加強，有些污漬。早餐品種過得去，人多的時候空間太小無法容納。總體還是推薦的。

L'hotel resort è ben meritato e dispone di tutti i tipi di servizi. Il mare è proprio fuori dalla porta. Non essere troppo a tuo agio a vivere qui~
Tutta la mia famiglia dice che non è necessario andare da nessuna parte solo per stare in un hotel. Puoi fare colazione a buffet, tè pomeridiano e puoi fare una passeggiata sulla spiaggia la mattina presto o la sera per goderti il mare. brezza~
Tuttavia, non ero molto soddisfatto della camera termale che avevo prenotato all'inizio. Successivamente, l'ho cambiata in una camera superior con terrazza e vista sul giardino con la signora alla reception. Il design del letto grande➕letto piccolo è molto adatto famiglie che viaggiano con bambini. Vorrei elogiare il personale dell'hotel, sono stato molto attento durante il processo di cambio della camera e l'atteggiamento del servizio è stato super buono! ! PPaNicLa posizione è ottimale e la vista dalla camera verso l'isola e in generale la baia è impagabile Il personale generalmente non parla inglese ma non è un grosso ptoblema (eventualmente si usa traduttore). La colazione a buffet è ottima da tutti i pdv e per tutti i gusti ed è servita in uno spazio molto piacevole.
La camera spaziosissima tutto molto comodo. Arredo datato ma dignitoso, molto classico.
Punti negativi: appena si entra in hotel si sente odore di fumo e da tenere presenti che solo alcune camere / piani sono non fumatori. In generale l'odore di umidità/muffa in stanza non è per nulla piacevole, migliora leggermente quando si spegne a/c ma essendo il clima caldissimo e umidissimo è difficile resistere. La moquette è un'altra caratteristica da consuderare come punto negativo soprattutto se si è allergici o sensibili.

One of the standout features of my stay was the complimentary laundry service. This thoughtful amenity made my trip even more convenient, allowing me to refresh my wardrobe without any hassle. It’s a fantastic perk, especially for travelers who are on the go or attending conferences.
Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offered at the hotel. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, providing a delightful start to each day.
I also appreciated the gym facilities, which were practical and useful for maintaining my fitness routine while traveling. It had everything I needed for a good workout, making it easy to stay active during my stay.
Another unique aspect of the Mercure Hotel is the innovative use of robots to deliver food orders from ** (Meituan) directly to your room. This modern touch added a fun and convenient element to my experience, making it easy to enjoy delicious meals without leaving my room.
Lastly, the hotel features a designated space for pick-ups and drop-offs, which was incredibly convenient for my travel arrangements. It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me.
Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

UUtente ospiteLa posizione dell'hotel è ottima, proprio sulla strada pedonale Zhongshan Road, con comodi trasporti. Ma non so se è perché siamo al sud. Ci sono molti insetti nella stanza... All'inizio ho visto una piccola macchia nera sul lenzuolo, ho pensato che fosse qualcosa di sporco e ho dato una pacca it, ma ho scoperto che un piccolo insetto è stato ucciso... Ho visto un oggetto in movimento direttamente sul cuscino... È quasi estate, spero che riusciremo a risolvere il problema delle zanzare è abbastanza fastidioso.

UUtente ospiteFirst of all this is NOT a HOLIDAY INN, indeed the hotel's name is SEP HOLIDAY. However on DIDI and Trip.Com it is listed as HOLIDAY INN. The real HOLIDAY INN is located about 200metres away. So please do not book this hotel if you are looking for a real holiday inn (IHG hotel). Having said that, this hotel does not need to call itself a HOLIDAY INN for you to consider it. We stayed here for seven(7) nights and will stay here again as it is very convenient, clean, provides a decent buffet local breakfast and is in a good location near bus station (50metres away), Metro Line 2 (Cruise Centre station) is across the road 300M away (there is a proper overhead walkway to cross the road, no escalators though) and you can walk to the gulanyu ferry terminal and sea world. It is also on the same side of the road as the start of the Mountain to the Sea Walking trail which is about 500metres away. Short, since the trail itself is 23km. The rooms are decent size (We got a corner unit room 8403 on the 4th floor), attached bathroom with all the amenities for 2 persons with hot shower and cold air conditioning with free cable tv and wifi and lots of power points. It doesnt have a fridge but none was needed. No swimming pool and really a too tiny gym with just a bit of free weights here and there. So don't bother packing your gym or swimming stuff. But if you are looking for a value for money decent and clean place to sleep and to have a cooked breakfast before going out out and about xiamen city for sightseeing, then this hotel is highly recommended. Just forget about the HOLIDAY INN part!

Housekeeping was prompt and very clean. We were especially impressed by friendly Stella and Gary for their excellent and meticulous recommendations of sightseeing and food etc. Always ready to take their time to explain in details every queries we had. Saved us a whole lot of research and headaches, we overall had an enjoyable and unforgettable stay in Xiamen! Kudos to your service staff!
Hotel is at a great location right next to Zhong Shan Rd Pedestrian Shopping street… lots of great restaurants and shopping very pleasant safe experience with lots of security guards around. Just eat at places with price menu and shop at places with fixed prices, you will go no wrong!

UUtente ospiteReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier?
Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish.
I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view.
Room was clean and nice. Slippers given.
Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them.
The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider.
The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night.
Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants.
The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently.
Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.
