Typical Maritim hotel. We stayed in a Family suite which was newly renovated and in the far corner of the hotel. The room had a great view of the river and castle and was quiet, all inclusive mini-bar is also a plus which I think is only for the suites. Downside was the bathroom, blocked showerhead and broken shower rail were fixed as soon as we made the FD aware about it, black mold and fluctuating water temp could not be resolved. don't wash your hands or flush the toilet if your partner is in the shower as the water will run very hot, actually it did if if the other rooms were using the water. We were comped the two days parking to make up for this which accepted. The pool is nice but you walk though the service area to get to is which is a bit disconcerting. This also where the entrance to the car park is. A few things about truth in advertising, the hotel claims 2 restaurants and a bar, in fact is has a buffet restaurant which does a decent breakfast and very limited (as in 3 choices for mains) for dinner. Room service menu seemed more extensive although we didn't order from it not sure why the same is not offered in the 1 and only restaurant. There is no bar! Location is about a 10 min walk from the old town and I suggest you walk along the river as the other route is not the most attractive. Hotel is catered towards conference and bus groups but the prices were fair.

Le zie e le signorine alla reception sono molto gentili, pazienti ed entusiaste! La camera è molto pulita, buona anche l'insonorizzazione. È molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, ci sono ristoranti nelle vicinanze e il cibo da asporto è veloce. È solo che Internet a volte non funziona bene, fa un po' freddo in inverno e non mi sembra che il riscaldamento sia sufficiente. Il check-out e il check-in sono molto veloci, molto buoni

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for 3 nights. Excellent location just across the street from the train station and within walking distance of all the wonderful sights of Wurzburg. Exceptionally clean everywhere, excellent bathroom with good shower and towels, comfy beds (only the pillows were rather soft for our liking). We didn’t try breakfast as there are so many nice places to eat in the town. Friendly staff. Good WiFi. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here two nights in March 2024. The room was OK. Shower was great with lots of hot water. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. The staff at the front desk were polite and helpful and everyone spoke excellent English. While the hotel does not have a gym, it has an arrangement with a local. However, this gym is hard to find and not close. At least a 15 minute walk. Once you find it, it's a nice gym with treadmills, elliptical, weights, bikes, etc.

Sono soddisfatto della mia permanenza presso l'hotel Strauss. La posizione è ottima, perchè in un attimo si raggiungono facilmente sia la stazione centrale, sia il duomo. Lo staff della struttura è molto cordiale, professionale e disponibile, sempre molto attento alle esigenze dei clienti. L'esperienza nel complesso è stata soddisfacente. Avevo prenotato sul sito ufficiale dell'hotel e ho pagato in struttura tutto il conto (8 notti: 1036 euro, compresa la colazione). Mi è stata assegnata una doppia / tripla, c'erano due letti singoli separati e un altro letto posizionato sotto a uno dei due. Bagno in camera (con doccia), minibar, piccola TV a schermo piatto, una scrivania e un armadio. Nella prenotazione erano inclusi anche alcuni canali della Pay TV e una bottiglia d'acqua naturale. La stanza, in generale, è un po' antiquata: a mio avviso, dovrebbe essere sistemata meglio e l'avrebbe dovuta pulire di più (e meglio). Sulla scrivania, grande come una casa, c'era un avviso che spiegava che, per salvaguardare l'ambiente, non pulivano le stanze tutti i giorni. E ci mancherebbe; una pulizia in più però l'avrei fatta. Durante la sera, si sentiva un po' di rumore che proveniva dalle stanze accanto (avevo chiesto una stanza silenziosa e non vicina alla strada principale, tuttavia questo problema non si poteva evitare; tuttavia non mi ha disturbato molto). Colazione ottima e abbondante: buonissimi i cornetti artigianali e anche la marmellata di albicocca che ho mangiato il primo giorno e dalla quale non mi sono più separato! Riassumendo, pro: colazione, staff, discreto rapporto qualità-prezzo, vicinanza al centro città e alla stazione dei treni; contro: camera un po' antiquata, un po' di rumore nella stanza, pulizia non ottimale della stessa stanza. In generale, per coloro che si accontentano, lo Strauss è una buona soluzione per soggiornare in città.

Un business hotel con una marcia in più. Splendida la hall con poltrone e luci italiane, dove si può anche fare la colazione. Il bar è efficiente e le camere sono pulite e confortevoli. In pieno centro, con la possibilità di raggiungere tutte le cose da vedere a Wurzburg. Parcheggio in zona a pagamnento

Hotel excelente, quarto espaço, limpo, super confortável. Café da manhã delicioso. Atendimento muito bom. Não é no centro, mas tem ônibus super fácil e próximo para a estação de trem. Tem um restaurante do lado do hotel que é muito gostoso. Recomendo.

I had read good reviews when we booked a stay in this hotel to visit Würzburg. When we arrived we had a bad experience during check-in where the receptionist asked me to fill a piece of paper with personal details. While I was filling out the form, he let another guy do the same. No problem, I’m perfectly fine with this. As I had finished filling out the papers, for some reason he asked me to wait until the other guy had finished his papers so that he could finish his check-in. Quite strange and not a very good service as both he and I knew I arrived at the front desk first. After this we asked where to park. Parking at their facility coat an additionally EUR 24 per day. The rooms are nice, not interesting at all but comfortable. As standard as a hotel room gets. The breakfast buffet is very good and is recommended if you stay here. The bar is tiny. The receptionist seems run by a staff that seems more like students than real hotel receptionist and it is lacking a bit of professionalism in my opinion. All in all not a bad hotel but I would have expected a lot more co spidering that the hotel is in the higher end of the normal price range. I was disappointed for the price paid.

La posizione era buona e conveniente per camminare per molte cose nella città. Avevamo una stanza sul secondo piano che guardava sul fiume e sulla fortezza con una splendida vista! La stanza e il bagno erano entrambi spaziosi. Il buffet del colazione era molto buono e ci hanno fatto cucinare uova spezzate. Il loro parcheggio era all'aperto dall'hotel.
