I know the term probably might not apply here, but this hotel has the best user experience design. Ever! You'll feel it in the room layout, amenities, info stickers, hotel facilities etc. Everything is well thought out of, with the hotel guests in the center stage. Despite the language barrier, everyone I met from the concierge, restaurant, and facilities staff were very friendly and professional. One of the staff even helped to create a walking path for me to see the small streets and alleys with very interesting shops and yummy food, and figure out how to use the Wechat app to pay for train and bus fares. Breakfast was delicious with lots of Chinese and Western style selection. The location is excellent too - it's central enough to easily walk to nearby food and shopping street, but still far enough that it's nice and quiet. Also near the riverside and some small parks for nice strolls. Lots of buses outside the hotel to bring you to other districts. I ended up not using taxi at all this trip. I hope to come back to Wuhan in the future and stay here again, hopefully for a much longer trip.
