Hotel Kriemhilde

We recently had the occasion to visit Worms Germany. Due to unforeseen issues our original hotel was not available and we were booked into the Kriemhilde. I can not say too many great things about our experience. The Proprietor was fabulous, the accommodations were superb and the location was wonderful. We were welcomed into the hotel as if we had been valued guests for many times. Detailed explanations were provided by the proprietor about the availability of in-house amenities and attractions in the nearby area. The food the hotel provided was fabulous and the rooms were well apportioned and very comfortable. We are very pleased with this Hotel and Weinstube and would recommend it for any traveler. In addition, if staying at this hotel you are at the center of the walking district. You have easy access to shops, restaurants and historical sites. BRAVO Hotel Restaurant Kriemhilde. On our next visit to Worms we will make certain to stay with you once again.

Perfect location, less than a 10 minute walk from the main station, it has a parking garage next door to it for those who drive. directly opposite the hotel is the Cathedral so its 2 mins walk to enter it and its about an 8 minute walk to St Magnus church and the museum. At the time of this review the Hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast but what a breakfast!!! there was a massive choice of food items in the buffet and they were very generous with the coffee and tea. The owner who checked me in was lovely, professional and very welcoming. The morning breakfast waitress was also very nice and efficient. I chose a single room which was very clean, well appointed, the bed was comfortable and the shower room very clean and spacious. I wish that i had paid the extra to get one of the rooms facing the cathedral. I sneaked a view of one of those rooms when it was being cleaned and there was a really great family room with a wonderful view opposite my room. I normally stay in corporate hotels due to traveling (pre covid days 150 nights a year). this year i stayed in several of these hotels but none of them had that personal touch and welcome which i received at the Kriemhilde. I thoroughly recommend visitors to Worms not to fall for the overpriced hotels in the new city centre as they would be missing an absolute gem of a hotel. If i visit Worms again then this would be my first choice of hotel to stay at.

Ein wunderbares, familiengeführtes Hotel an zentraler Lage, gleich neben dem berühmten Dom und zwei Minuten von der Bushaltestelle und der Touristeninfo entfernt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Besitzer kümmern sich persönlich um die Gäste. Ganz speziell ist die Liebenswürdigkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Chefin Grazia zu erwähnen; so etwas trifft man nicht jeden Tag. Das ist echte Gastfreundschaft! Mein Zimmer ging auf die Hofseite und war sehr ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, aber alles, wirklich alles Notwendige war da und einfach zu bedienen, sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Bad. Alles war sauber und machte einen kürzlich renovierten Eindruck. Ein absoluter Hit war das reiche, liebevoll zubereitete Frühstück, mit vielen frischen Produkten, bis zum Schluss schön arrangiert und immer wieder aufgefüllt. Ich danke herzlich für alles und hoffe sehr, wieder einmal zurückzukommen.

Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und konnten für das Einchecken vor dem Hotel anhalten. Anschliessend haben wir unseren Wagen für 10€ pro Tag im nahen Parkhaus am Dom untergebracht, wo es schöne und ausreichend breite Parkplätze gibt.Unser Zimmer im dritten Stock hatte 2 kleine, aber saubere Zimmer. Die Betten waren gut, die Kissen weniger. Wir schliefen aber gut, weil die Lage nahe beim Dom doch sehr ruhig war. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut, der Service durch die Chefin ausgezeichnet und freundlich. Wir waren zufrieden, für uns hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gestimmt und den nicht vorhandenen Lift haben wir nicht vermisst.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral am Wormser Dom.Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt schnell und unkompliziert zu Fuß erreichen. Die Zimmer im Hotel sind modern eingerichtet und sauber. Das riesige Frühstücksbuffet schlägt aber alles. Soooo viel Auswahl habe ich in keinem Hotel bisher erlebt! Das Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend.
