A unique layout of 7 individual rooms with access to a communal kitchen & breakfast area with central AC. We were en route from Monkey Mia to Perth & this provided an ideal staging post as our room had a full kitchen with parking outside the door which was convenient. Also, we had the misfortune to travel over a special weekend apparently which meant most prices had tripled which prompted us to consider not stopping. Location was just outside Geraldton which meant our departure route avoided the crowded main route.

My husband and I stayed at Rhodeside Lodge during our recent road trip up to Geraldton and the Wheatbelt. We were extremely happy with our stay, and will definitely return. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. It wasn't ensuite, but that was completely all right - we were travelling on a budget and looking for affordable, albeit comfortable accommodation. Clean, comfy, safe and quiet, Rhodeside Lodge was just what we were looking for! The bathrooms were just down the hall, and were also immaculately clean. In addition, there was a large communal lounge area and under-cover barbecue area, as well as a very clean and well equipped kitchen. This was ideal for us as we like to cook for ourselves when we travel. The owner and staff here are lovely! Very friendly and helpful. I accidently left my pajamas behind in the bathroom when we left, and the owner kindly arranged to send them back to us at his own expense. In a nutshell, we had a wonderful stay at Rhodeside Lodge, and highly recommend it to others. It's a few kilometers out of Geraldton, in a lovely, quiet and safe location.

We stayed in Room 5. Just an overnighter on our way back to Perth but will definitely stay again whenever we are heading north. The room is very spacious with a modern and well equipped kitchenette. The most outstanding feature of this property is it is immaculate. The room sand everything in them are cleaned to within an inch of their lives. Grounds are neat, tidy and well maintained. And the price? Unbelievable value. Stay here or you are missing out.
