Hotel in zona Sydney CBD, Woolloomooloo

The location was right in the city, close to City2surf, room was clean, bed was very comfortable and we also ate at the restaurant on site which was lovely. Can’t fault Rydges at all, staff were friendly, we’d definitely stay there again.

This is a beautiful hotel set right in the heart of downtown Sydney. We loved our stay here. The staff were very attentive to anything we needed and happy to help. The room was clean and very beatifully appointed with luxurious features. The buffet breakfast was amazing with delicious cold and hot food and fresh fruit and pastries and great coffee. We loved the heritage feeling of this hotel and how central it was to many of Sydney's landmarks and must see places! We highly recommend The Fullerton Hotel Sydney and would love to come back again.

Stayed two more nights after the Sydney Marathon. On the last night there was unexpected road work which was very noisy and was expected to continue until mid-night. The staff member at the reception (male with glasses) and the manager (Ms Sarah) on duty that night arranged for us to move to a room facing Hyde Park - the side that was not affected by the road work - so we were able to sleep. It was not easy as there were conferences and events going on at the hotel that night. BIG THANK YOU to both of them!!

We stayed there a total of 3 nights and we had to move rooms 3 times from level 11 to level 4 then back up to level 9 the first 2 rooms overnight flooded because it was raining heavy at times but mostly just showers but the carpet was soaked throughout both rooms, When I told reception they sent me to the room with towels to soak it up and assumed it would be ok I guess, But then the hotel manager knocked on our door asked to look at the water damage I didn't know why at that time but he had made the same discovery In a number of rooms in the hotel. So he organised to have his maintinence man come and suck the water out with a wet vacuum we went out so they could do that we were gone for a couple hours and when we got back they had just finished and had industrial blowers drying it out more.I wasn't going to stay in that room and asked the manager to move us but he was reluctant but he did.No offer to help us move our stuff for the inconvenience but history repeated itself in the next room. So the final night we were downgraded alot the room was half the size of the one we originally booked the condition of the room was like it was quickly cleaned and made available for us in the last hour it was disgusting and very poor effort from the Manager and the staff. The TVs in 2 of the 3 rooms wouldn't connect to the hotels promised super speed wifi on the website which wasn't very fast at all. The phones fitted in the rooms don't work they're not even connected. The safes in the rooms! one I had to put 6 X AA batteries in for it to turn on! only to say error over and over again and the other 2 don't work. The Photos below are the standard of cleaning in this hotel and unfinished workmanship. Very Dissatisfied Hotel Stay.

Ottimo soggiorno in A by Adina! Molto bella posizione vicino a CBD. Possiamo raggiungere i famosi luoghi turistici solo con il trasporto pubblico. Camera pulita e personale amichevole!

I often travel to Sydney for business and finally found a hotel that meets my standards for cleanliness and convenience! The housekeeping team did an excellent job—the room, carpet, and bedding were spotless, fresh, and comfortable. The king-size bed was great, and there was no damp smell even with weeks of rain in Sydney. The facilities are a little dated, and I did notice some noise from neighboring rooms and the water pump when showers were running. The bathroom faucet was also dripping, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, this is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at in Sydney with a great location. With some updates to the facilities and soundproofing, it would be perfect!

Great location and overall an amazing stay, but soundproofing could be much better. Take note that there are rooms without the balcony , which I should have asked prior checking in. The hotel is in a fantastic location — very convenient and accessible, which made exploring the area super easy. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. However the housekeeping service, the blanket’s sheets were removed by us but she just left on the floor instead of cleaning it up and the vanity kit was not restored. (I’m not entirely sure how is housekeeping like in AUS, but it’s not the best) That said, the walls are extremely thin, and noise was a consistent issue throughout. You can hear people talking and walking in the hallway, the housekeeping trolley rolling by, and even the closing of nearby doors, which is surprisingly loud and jarring. The other rooms are very close to each other, so you can even hear the other rooms alarm(which kept snoozing 3 times from 7am) the doors do not have a soft close to when it closes it keeps banging— it gets disruptive. If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this might be something to keep in mind. But if you’re okay with a bit of background noise, the hotel still offers great value in a prime location. REMEMBER to ask if there’s any renovation works happening prior to booking (we had ours on the last day and the drilling was so loud)

Il servizio era pronto. La posizione era buona. Generalmente pulita. Solo sfida è l'ascensore; ci sono solo 2 ascensori e disattivano uno di loro ogni mattina non sono sicuri di cosa. Ci vuole circa 15 minuti per fare il cammino durante il periodo di picco mattinale. Stressante se hai un aereo da catturare, a meno che non pianifichi e fa il tempo necessario per prendere l'ascensore.

La pulizia deve essere più approfondita. Molti posti hanno ancora capelli, tinture di tovaglioli, ecc ... ma in generale accettabile. L'ascensore è sempre molto lento nella mattina e i satopi ogni livello. Una volta, ho dovuto aspettare 15 minuti e era pieno, quindi ho usato le scale di emergenza dal livello 23. Finalmente, la porta è molto pesante per aprire/chiudere e deve essere più lento quando la macchina è chiusa per evitare di colpire i dita (soprattutto i bambini). Potrebbe essere un processo che attende.

I recently stayed at Capella Sydney and was thoroughly impressed. The rooms were stylish and comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully done. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth the stay!
