Handy for the M1 near Wakefield, the room was clean, spacious and quiet so had a good nights' sleep. It's in a motorway service area so the food and drink available will be limited to which outlets are open.

I had no complaints about this budget hotel , the reception team were extremely friendly, the hotel was clean , and perfect for my stay.

Being situated just off the M1, I wasn’t expecting a scenic location - but I think the hotel was excellent value for money. I had a huge room which was very clean. A great shower, white sheets and fluffy towels. I have paid a lot more for less. Felt safe as a woman travelling alone. It’s very convenient and lots of nice attractions close by.

Very clean and tidy, i would definately stay again when working in the area and would definately recommend to friends and family. Friendly staff on when i arrived. Location was fairly quiet too although being near the motorway

Visited for break from motorway. Desperately in need of a refurbishment. Everywhere was clean though and usual choice of places to eat & shop. Car park slightly difficult to negotiate as with a lot of service stations. Electric chargers available but no one was charging - didn’t notice whether they were working.

Nice friendly staff . Not too noisy place bearing in mind it’s M1 services. Hotel needs updating otherwise nice and clean place. Breakfast facilities next door so convenience but if you are in a rush and want quick breakfast then you might need to think

I can't fault the front of house staff/reception staff, they have been friendly and welcoming. Nothing has been too much trouble, any issues have been quickly and efficiently resolved. The only quibble I have is that the building itself is in need of some refurbishments but for the price, I can't really complain. A quick note to the front of house staff/reception staff, a massive thank you for everything. The management at Travelodge need to recognise your hard work. From one frontline key worker (Nurse) to another.

I had a fantastic “ Accessible room “ as requested. The Mattress was so comfy with very comfy pillows and quilt. Everything was perfect. On arrival I was 10 mins early, but the supervisor Angie was a star.very polite and extremely helpful. There are a few places around the sight where you can buy and Beverages. I give this place a very high rating.

Very helpful staff, made to feel welcome and comfortable. Everything I needed was accommodated for including parking tea &coffee hot water, clean towels, rooms where spacious and clean overall good stay
