If the river is high, you can access the trail head by going into town, behind the outdoor Shakespeare stage next to the Woodstock town offices.............You don’t need a car to come to this Woodstock paradise!  From NewYork City, there is a bus to Woodstock.  The bus stop is about a half mile from the Teahouse, a 10 minute walk.
