Premier Inn Banbury is a short distance from the town centre where you can see the fine lady upon a white horse (from the famous nursery rhyme) or go to the Banbury Museum. Venture further afield to navigate the Oxford Canal in a narrowboat and visit nearby Broughton Castle. Be careful not to overdo the Banbury cakes because Thyme, our onsite restaurant, will be waiting to serve you a tasty dinner.

Wonderful staff, very attentive and proactive.
Our parents stayed there as well and we all had a great night sleep.
We specially liked the taxi booking system they had in which you push a button in reception and they tell you the taxi number and at what time is is going to arrive.
They could include the opening hours in their menu as we didn’t know at what time they closed. There is no phone in your room so you have to go downstairs to order the food for it to be delivered to your room (and presumably pay there as well)
The kiosk check-in wasn’t working so we had to wait for a person to arrive.
The drop your card system for checkouts is great!

The stay overall was good. He had a very lovely and quiet room overlooking the Oxford canal in Banbury.
The hotel is perfectly well located right next Castle Quay (main shopping centre in Banbury City Centre)
There is an arcade right in front of the hotel with cinemas, restaurants, bowling, gaming meters away from the hotel.
I would say the location is just great.
As for the staff. They were NOT great. I believe they lack of proper training to receive, register and welcome guests.

非常不推薦，酒店默認的網絡速度非常慢，必須買5磅每天的快速網絡才能用；收走了我自帶的毛巾，僅告知衞生打掃是外包第三方的無法幫助尋找，另外我告知前台需要提前一天退房，最終不給退費。非常糟糕的一次體驗！

Second time staying here on our way to France. Staff are lovely and helpful as always, breakfast was really good, fresh and warm with plenty of choice. Only got one pillow to sleep on when we usually get two and they're so comfy so that affected sleep a little bit but everything else was great. Got given a baby blanket with the cot which was a lovely touch as noone else does this. Parkings great, great hotel, will be back.

Friendly and helpful staff, however this premier inn needs a complete revamp. It is suffering from previously being a Holiday Inn Express and some of the bathroom/wet room fittings indicate this and are past their best. Sadly I had the feeling that everywhere needed a deep clean including, carpets, upholstery etc. This Premier Inn is looking tired and really needs the decorators inn before very long! The plus point at the moment is the price, extremely reasonable compared with other Premier Inns.

Stayed on pur way to Alton towers for one night to split up the journey. Staff were soo welcoming and friendly. We arrived at approx 19.30, checked in quickly with the kids, we had the cot set up ready, and had a clean room on the ground floor. Had a pleasant stay and would definitely use in the future.

We visited the hotel with family as we were staying in Banbury fie the weekend. The hotel was good, but the staff were Incredible. We met a person called Junior who was a lot of fun, made some great drinks and was super friendly. Would highly recommend, Junior was a top bloke and made a difference to the evening.
