The Swan Inn

We booked for a Sunday night prior to an early flight from Bristol. On arrival we were treated like VIPs with the manager taking our luggage and inviting us to sit outside in the sun with a complimentary drink despite the pub very busy. We have stayed at considerably more expensive hotels and not been treated as well. The pub was buzzing with walkers, locals and even horse riders many enjoying a Sunday roast. Our deal which is available every Sunday was a double room with breakfast for £119 but this also included £50 credit towards dinner, bargain. The manager also explained that if we joined the Butcome loyalty scheme we could get an additional 20% off future bookings. We had an excellent roast and a couple of drinks. They serve breakfast from 7.30 but we had to leave at 5.45 so they offered to make us sausage or bacon rolls and also croissants/pain eu chocolate which even came with little jars of jam. We enjoyed all of this at the airport and on the plane. We will definitely be back even if our flights not as early, you start your holiday a day earlier and don’t have to worry about traffic issues as you’re only 6 miles away.

My husband and I stayed here the night before our holiday as we had an early morning flight. What a fantastic start to our holiday, we had such a warm welcome from the manager and all of the staff were lovely and friendly. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and the room was lovely with a super comfy bed. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again in January as we have an early morning flight again.

Facilities good, staff welcoming, caring and professional. Had dinner and breakfast. Both were appetising and well presented at a comfortable pace.

I will start with one word -' Exceptional' .Sam and his staff made our stay very enjoyable. The food was amazingly good-go for the Burger for lunch together with a couple of pints of Thatcher's Cider.[Burp] Our room like everything else was outstanding. We travel a lot and place the all-round experience of the Swan Inn , Rowberrow on the top of other Pub Hotels we have visited. Thank you Swan Inn for a very enjoyable 3 days.

We stayed for 1 night and ate dinner there. Beautiful setting, excellent staff, really nice meal, lovely room. We were walking one of the many trails and they even gave us complimentary coffees when we checked out.

A delightful experience right from our check in. Young staff were friendly and keen to please. Great food, comfortable rooms and lovely atmosphere with candles on every table at breakfast time.
