Glencree

民宿離碼頭大約1公里，離温德米爾小鎮也是1公里左右，其他都挺好，就是房間實在太小了。特別是淋浴間，沐浴的地方很小，轉身也比較困難，特別對於男士來説。房間有一個小冰箱，放兩個大箱子的話非常困難，如果住在一樓進進出出會比較吵。要表揚的是餐廳的早餐做得比較精緻，但是如果每天都吃的話，可能也會膩了。 謝謝小木屋有自己的停車場，大約可以停五輛車，所謂的游泳池不是在這裏，要開車大概五分鐘的一個會所。

Had a wonderful stay Ian a great host nothink too much trouble even replaced a cafetiere which HE broke breakfast amazing. Still trying to work out how they managed to get the Queen size bed up the spiral staircase. Definitely visiting again great location.

Such a great place. The room was large, bed very comfortable. . The owner, Ian, was warm, welcoming, and very friendly. He was generous with his information of the area and was extremely accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and asking for a vegetarian meal, Ian was quite happy to do so and provided a very tasty brekkie. Yes, he's a man of many hats. I'd also recommend visiting the nearby pub, Brookside, as it's the local - it has great foos and bevvies.

So much want to give this place 5 stars, King room on 1st floor, decor outstanding, bathroom excellent, very clean, but stuff like kettle, coffee machine and mini fridge placed on a window sill with an extension lead , was not really appropriate, should get rid of the chest of drawers and set up a table for this. Wanted to sit outside on the grey rattan seats, but all we would have looked at were bin bags piled up, and the other terrace looking over the river, but again the steel shutter door had been pulled shut , as if closed for the winter. When we arrived we were told that the pool was not nearby, but actually a 5 minute drive away. A beutiful place, lovely full english breakfast, just needs a few tweeks Regards S

Nice big bedroom , tablet to order breakfast etc.food nice and hot.double hand basin.some rooms up a spiral staircase.

We were more than satisfied with our hotel stay at The Glencree. The keypad and instructions for check-in were smooth and efficient. The romantic room was very clean beautifully decorated and had a cozy feel. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful quality toiletries, coffee/tea-makers, hairdryer and fast, free Wi-Fi. The balcony view and setting was lovely and we enjoyed relaxing in the peace and quiet there. The restaurant and service were spot on offering a continental and/or cooked English breakfast. Windermere, is one of the most beautiful spots in the Lake District. The location of the hotel is perfect it is centrally located within walking distance for Bowness and Windermere. We were aware of but didn’t have time to make use of the off site fitness center.
