"We booked 2 nights for a relaxing spa weekend. Based on it being a spa hotel. We planned on staying in the hotel for the whole weekend.  When we arrived we were told there was no restaurant or bar we can use as it’s only used for events.  We then had some lunch in the spa cafe. Food was ok. Service was terrible.  We then went to the room as we were able to check in. The cleaner was still there. Very apologetic extremely polite and lovely. The room was absolutely wonderful. Large bedroom bathroom and living room.  We went out and found a pub for food. When we returned to relax in the room we found the party was directly below us and in full swing. Very loud and noisy and the smoking area was right outside our window. We called reception but they were fully booked. Glad to say it all stopped at midnight.  We went down to breakfast at 9.30. Not much left and the full breakfast was cold. When we questioned it we were just told”well it has been there since 7” it had just sat on the side in silver trays for 2.5 hours, no heat or option to reheat. It wasn’t edible.  We skipped breakfast that we paid for on the second day.  We then thought we would spend some time in the spa. Ha! Well the pool is small, no where to relax just a couple of plastic chairs, not a spa at all. It had a very small sauna and steam room. The jacuzzi didn’t work it was just a pool of cloudy water with a few bubbles.  Would not recommend. Seems it used to be and could be a wonderful place to be but has been taken over and lost its sole. Such a shame as the building and grounds are wonderful.  I have to add the cleaning staff and lady on reception were wonderful, welcoming and friendly."

"We were stopping over on the way to the S West. What a great place - they went out of their way to save us a car parking space opposite the hotel, the staff are very attentive and the food in the bar area was excellent value with a good busy atmosphere. The room was newly decorated, very warm and cosy and with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was terrfic with a good chat with the owners, who are delightful. We couldn't fault our experience in any way - thoroughly recommmed the Nog Inn."

"Excellent room and shower room facilities, including an iron and fan in room. Comfy bed. Quiet bedroom annex, considering the proximity of the Inn to a busy road. Breakfast was decent, although scrambled eggs were more like an omelette. Excellent value."

Tutto quello che avete bisogno era lasciato fuori (comprese le bevande e le colazione e le istruzioni per la raccolta delle chiavi erano semplici da seguire.Abbiamo un tempo favoloso - un po 'diverso dalle normali camere d'albergo meno anima che si ottiene con alcune catene. Unico e bellissimo."
