Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach-Landfall Park

I stayed at this hotel for work a trip. Prior to me arriving, my manager booked my stay and at the time of the booking he stated that the stay should be completely charged on his credit card. The Hampton Inn employee stated because we are with a group, the security deposit would be $15 per day and I was aware that a charge would be on my personal credit card, which was fine . When I checked in, the lady at the desk said she would charge for the security deposit. I was staying for 3 nights , so there should have been a charge of $45. Once I got to my room, I checked my account and saw there was a $500 charge on my account . I went back down to the front desk and calmly said to the lady, I am just looking for clarity on why my card was charge this amount when that’s not the agreement that was told by phone. I was immediately met with hostility and was told “I’m not going to argue with you, you can talk to the manger.” The manager Sheeri Hightower came out and she was just as rude. She was very dismissive and told me no credit card was on file for my reservation and that’s why I was charge. That was a complete lie , because you can’t even book a reservation without a credit card and if that was the case, why wasn’t that mentioned when I checked in??! So, I went back to my room. As I walked away, I heard Sheeri Hightower and her employee laughing at me as I walked away(Nice way to make your guest feel welcomed.)To make a long story short, I had my manager email over his credit card info so he could cover the reservation. My manager called me and told me he talked to the front desk and it should be handled. Instead of the hotel manager calling me to tell me the issue was resolved and my credit card would be refunded, I heard nothing from them. So I stopped by the front desk again, Just to confirm they received my managers credit card and that it would be refunded . Again, I was met with an attitude and was talked to In a condescending tone. The following day, I was at the bar by the pool and the manager Sheeri Hightower walked behind the bar, looked dead at me and didn’t speak . She turned her back to me and ate a hamburger behind the bar and never acknowledged me. Once she was done, she walked away. The Hampton Inn needs to take a better look at the type of people they are hiring . I have been a customer service manager for 15 years and I would never be this rude to a customer. When my company has another convention, I will recommend they find another hotel. I will never stay here again.

The hotel is located in a prime location. Everything is close by and a lot is within walking distance. The hotel was clean, updated, decor was nice, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety of foods. We would definitely stay here again and already have plans to return within the next year.

L'hotel è vicino all'hotel del giardino di Hilton, l'ambiente circostante è bello, vicino a una comunità di alta qualità, condividere supermercati, ristoranti e altri centri commerciali completi; 2. La posizione dell'hotel è moderata, ci vuole solo dieci ore per guidare alla spiaggia di Litzwell e solo 15 minuti per raggiungere il centro di Wilmington. È molto conveniente; 3. Il tipo di camera e l'igiene sono buoni, specialmente per le vacanze familiari; 4.I servizi sono anche migliori.

L'hotel è un'estrella nel complesso durante la riparazione. Cinque stelle vanno al personale di fronte del desk denominato Kenyatta. Era l'unica attenzione che ha reso il soggiorno tollerabile. Per ogni questione che abbiamo avuto, ha affrontato con tale attenzione. E' venuta personalmente in camera nostra per consegnare nuove carte chiave e portarci in una nuova stanza perché l'unità ac/caldatrice della prima stanza era obnoxicamente alta. Quando ho chiesto un'altra tazza di K per il coniglio, è andata sopra e oltre per trovarla, perché la custodia non era intorno con un approvvigionamento. Ancora una volta è venuta in camera nostra per consegnarle. Per quanto riguarda la prima impressione dell'hotel, non c'è lobby. Siamo stati divertiti a una porta accanto alle porte dello giardino dove il make shift “desk front” è bloccato in un alcove dove le macchine vending sarebbero sedute. È letteralmente una tavola con un computer su di essa. L'impiegato è letteralmente un corridoio. C'è una ragione per cui questo hotel è stato rinnovato, tutto è vecchio. Sento che si stava camminando depressa per la strada verso la nostra stanza. C'è una piscina, ma è necessario tagliare l'esterno per arrivare a essa. Non ideale per gennaio. La piscina stessa sembrava anche depressa. Quando si chiedeva, il personale disse che dovevano ottenere la manutenzione per spostare i mobili prima dell'uso. Le letti sono meh. Sicuramente rimasti in letti più confortevoli con letti più freschi. In generale, vecchi hotel con vecchi mobili, tra cui TV. Sono stato sprecato con TV intelligente in hotel ora. Il colazione da andare “sacco marrone” era piuttosto buono. Comprende per l'area non esistente per colazione gratuita questo hotel avrebbe di solito offerto. Forse dopo le riparazioni tutto sarà meglio. Rimani pulita di questo posto fino a quel momento.

Ogni volta che viaggiamo a Wilmington per visitare la famiglia, questo è il nostro posto. Il personale è sempre molto amichevole e ospitante. Il servizio ristorante è grande e l'aiuto è sempre amichevole con un sorriso caldo. Le camere sono spaziali e sempre pulite e sanitarie. I servizi eccellenti e molte attività e ristoranti nel centro commerciale adiacente ci danno un enorme plus.
