The hotel room is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is good with lots of varieties like fruits, cereals, cheese, cold cuts. The food at the restaurant is good and they have smaller portions too . It was a good stay .

Der Sauerländer Hof mit seinem charmanten Landhausstil liegt nicht unweit des Zentrums entfernt. Der Fußweg beträgt ca. 10 Min. Das Zimmer (befahrbar mit einem Aufzug) war groß und geräumig (barrierefrei, breite Türen, ebenerdige Dusche, abgesenktes Waschbecken). Ein Arbeitsplatz stand in der Loggia zur Verfügung. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr schön angerichtet mit Allem, was das Herz begehrt. Die Eierspeisen wurden frisch zubereitet.
Verbesserungstipp: Bei Ankunft den Gästen mitteilen, dass die Tische beim Frühstück nach Zimmernummern reserviert sind und die Tische dementsprechend sichtbar kennzeichnen (bitte nicht die Tischnummer inkl. Reservierungsinfo so aufstellen, dass sich die Info auf der Rückseite befindet. (Das kann keiner lesen und somit wird sich dann dort hingesetzt wo man sich auch gerade hinsetzen möchte).

We stayed here for a family ski break. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you needed. Including a hair dryer. The Buffett continental breakfast had something for everyone. The location was ideal for us albeit a 20 min walk up through the town to the slopes. But excellent for doing a pub crawl on the way back!! Lots of lovely places to eat. Definitely a place to return to and explore more of its attractions and activities on offer. Well worth a visit if you’re a skier or not.

We just had a very nice dinner at the Sauerländer Hof. The service was excellent, our meals, Schnitzel, Steak and venison schnitzel (with cranberry sauce and rösti) were very good and we can recommend it.

Also, eigentlich ein ganz nettes Hotel,….aber an Freundlichkeit hat es sehr zu wünschen lassen. Ich weiß ja nicht, ob das ein Familienunternehmen ist, aber die Personen, die uns „bewirtet“ hatten, waren doch sehr unfreundlich. Selbst ein „Guten Morgen“ wurde gar nicht, oder nur widerwillig erwidert. Kundenfreundlich geht anders. Bitte dran arbeiten!
