Williamsport: hotel a 2 stelle

As IHG members we stay regularly Holiday Inns. Alas, while we like the points, we've found that not all sites are equal. THIS one is, by far, the very best we've found and is always where we stay when visiting family. As the title claims, it's ALWAYS all of those things--clean, friendly, and a great value. The breakfast area is kept well-stocked with a good variety of options, and is overseen by attentive managers (thank you, Kelly!). Our bathroom was spotless with a step-in shower that drained well and provided pump style amenities. There's a mini-fridge in each room and a Wegman's grocery store across the parking lot where you can either buy to load up your fridge, or sit and grab a quick meal. We've always wondered--how is this particular HI so much better in quality and price than others? Could it be that they host the major TV network staff who stay during Little League World Series? Perhaps. Or maybe it's just Williamsport, down to earth, attentive customer service. The one and only thing that is a challenge is limited parking, especially if you land at night on a weekend. That's when the crowds are big at the adjacent James Restaurant which shares the lot. Several guests complained while we stood in the lobby. There's overflow parking but it's not advertised or posted anywhere for guests to see (which would be helpful), We've learned to park offsite, then retrieve and repark our car after the restaurant closes.

Clean quiet and relaxing ...Big comfortable bed ... Location is near home I love it. Great breakfast only thing is they need to serve turkey or beef sauce and bacon for people who don't eat pig.

Hotel centenario, antiquato, con colazione, consiglio!

Sono rimasto qui una notte per il mio viaggio verso New York. L'hotel era una scelta solida. Per una proprietà domestica avevano buon riconoscimento Platino. La colazione è stata decente per un pasto gratuito, ma soprattutto quello che si aspetta di cereali, avena, frutta e alcune opzioni preconfezionate calde. Non fantastico, ma ok per questo livello di servizio. Il parcheggio è piccolo davanti all'hotel per l'iscrizione, ma il parcheggio overnight è lungo la strada sopra la stazione di autobus. Abbiamo avuto una suite da due camere che era grande per tre di noi viaggiando insieme (non era un aggiornamento che abbiamo pagato per questo), e in generale, non avrei esitato a rimanere qui di nuovo.

Da City Hall Grand Hotel di Williamsport puoi raggiungere a piedi, in meno di 5 minuti, sia Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce sia Community Theatre League. Questo hotel si trova a 0,5 km da Lycoming College e 0,8 km da Market Street Bridge.Le opportunità di svago non mancano: avrai a disposizione una palestra, oltre a il Wi-Fi gratuito e una sala giochi/videogiochi.Il un parcheggio gratuito è disponibile in loco.Nelle 19 camere della struttura ti sentirai come a casa.

Il miglior sonno mai!Carina mattinata ferma (non ti piacerà se preferisci morbidezza). La grande stanza, le finestre aperte, ha Netflix, una doccia a piedi, patio con BBQ che alcuni residenti usavano, cucina completa con piatti, potti e panini, utensili - che cosa non piace? L'hotel è anche facile da raggiungere. Il parcheggio è gratuito, anche se è fuori luogo. C'era la ricezione di un manager (offerta per tre notti su sette, credo), offre birra, vino, bevande molli. La colazione era meno ispirante. Un'altra volta andremmo a Perkins vicino. L'unica osservazione negativa è che, anche se avevamo una stanza nuovamente rinnovata, una delle ombre di luce e la sedia da scrivania erano già rotte. Quanto triste.

Great reception, great breakfast, great room, loved it. Didn't have time for the indoor pool or gym. Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. A place you could stay for awhile and really enjoy. ,........... ..........................!
