Gondolier Motel - Wildwood

Motel is very close to the beach and had adequate parking. Common areas are well kept. There are grills in the pool area for guest use. But, my issue is with our room (#321). The GFI outlet in the bathroom was cracked/broken and not working. I think this is a safety issue and my wife wasn't happy about not using her hair dryer. I texted the front desk about the GFI but got no response. The shelf next to the sink is loose/coming off the wall. There is only ONE lamp in the room and it is not controlled by the wall switch. We had to walk into a dark room. The freezer compartment in the small fridge had a large block of ice and I had to defrost it before we could use it. While the room was clean, taken together, these things indicate a lack of maintenance. Other rooms we stayed in past had similar but minor issues. Fortunately, we spend most of our time at the beach and not in our room. While we like the Gondolier and have stayed several times, we may be looking at other places in the future.

This is the cleanest and nicest motel that I've ever stayed at in Wildwood Crest in many years. Incredibly friendly staff and very accommodating. Location is directly across the street from the beach. The pool was super clean also. Highly recommend.

Another wonderful stay at The Gondolier. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. We book 2-3 rooms. The location is convenient to the boardwalk, beach and restaurants. The property and rooms are super clean as is the pool/patio. The staff could not be more friendly and welcoming. We have already made arrangements for 2025. - The Sheridans

We arrived on a Friday evening in early September, with reservations at a different motel. I won't mention the name, but basically, we walked in and walked right back out. We headed over to the Gondolier, exhausted from a long drive and hauling heavy luggage up and down stairs and in and out of the car at the other place. The staff at the Gondolier couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, or accommodating - From the desk clerk, to the security/groundskeeper who showed us around, to the owner herself. The room on the 2nd floor was spotless, spacious, and quiet. The pool area was clean with plenty of seating, and the upper deck is perfect for sunning or a picnic, with a great view of the beach. There is free parking and a pathway with direct access to the beach. It's centrally located with the boardwalk and local businesses/eateries within walking distance. It's not a luxury hotel, nor is it ultra modern. But it is a very comfortable, clean, family friendly establishment - One of the very best that Wildwood Crest has to offer! We will definitely be staying again.

This place was clean, but very dated, no toiletries in bathroom, furniture from the 1950's. Not worth the cost. We had an ocean view room when the only way to see the ocean was to go outside the room and lean over the railing!! I wouldn't stay there again.

the office man is very rude, the place is very noicey, the worst place to stay they move you in the middle of your stay. they put you from an ocean front room on the third floor to the first floor and my room under the ugly old steel stairs, with the same price has the ocean front. and by the way they should take the word resort off the name, they close the pool at 7 PM they have 2 gas grills and not even a bar that a resort the them. and you know what they said when I complained OH I GUESS YOU WONT BE BACK
