We stayed in a nice two bedroom cottage backing on to the river. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The operators of the facility are hard working, friendly and keen to please. There are a cafe and food van, with a pizza oven coming, if you don’t want to self cater. We used the perfectly adequate kitchen and cooked our own meals. Given how close we were to the action it was remarkably peaceful. The bedrooms are on the small side, try not to take in more than you need, the storage space is a bit restricted, that said we will be back next time we are in the district.

Great spot to stay... very peaceful and attractive sites! Happy hour included live music as we sat there by the beautiful Darling River..lots of bird life and walking tracks

Located on the banks of the Darling River,a lovely quiet location. Very good facilities and camp kitchen overlooks the river .lawned sites.

Amazing place, friendly staff and reasonably priced. We spent 2 nights here and loved the atmosphere - campfires with nibbles provided, food truck on site, sunsets over the water - just gorgeous!

Super friendly staff very welcoming. Camp fire from 5pm & charcuterie board complimentary each day Brand new amenities very large showers very clean. Set on beautiful surrounds & river. They also have a food truck selling burgers, steak sandwiches etc open 5-8pm Highly recommend..sensational stay..powered & non powered

Excellent spot on the picturesque Darling River just outside of historic Wilcannia. Great amenities, the recently opened Cafe was a bonus!!! Highly recommend!

We stayed in our caravan on a powered site. The amenities block is excellent with huge showers which were in great condition & very clean. The site was a good size. Meals are available from a new food van - it should go very well. The staff are very helpful & friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay.

Wonderfully surprised. Huge shower rooms. Friendly staff. Absolutely beautiful location. We only stayed the one night but wish we’d stayed longer. Were pleasantly surprised by the size of the place 1700acres to explore via map brings you across some stunning scenery. Everything you need to restock from Reception. Gallery showcasing resident artist. The butcher even popped in. The Darling River is a gem.

What a pleasant surprise to discover this place on our way to Broken Hill. Rustic in appearance but ticking all the boxes. Management very friendly from first contact and very helpful. Amenities were modern and clean and there was even green grass!!! Its a great place to stay for a day or two just to relax, repack the van, do a bit of tidying up and travel on. Highly recommend staying here.
