Hotel in zona Jugendnaturzeltplatz, Wiesbaden

The Oranien hotel in the Weisbaden was by far one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. There are a number of qualities I look for in a hotel after staying in them for more than 40 years. The Orion ticked all my boxes and in most cases surpassed my expectations. The property was exceptional clean and elegant. You had a good feeling throughout the property from the front desk, lobby, bar, event rooms, breakfast area, etc. The breakfast was a delight and very very good. The staff was exceptional. The front desk Manager Nicole and Assistant Eli were beyond friendly and informative. They always brightened your day with their friendly customer service. Andrea and Carmen worked tirelessly during the breakfast service. They also provided excellent service and warm caring smiles during breakfast service. You would also see the owner moving throughout the hotel making sure everything was up to its' highest standards.;

This is a nice hotel with some striking old features like the stairway from the reception to the floors. Unfortunately that also comes with stairs that you cannot circumvent with elevators, or ideal for a slightly handicapped person. Moreover, you can’t park there and although the distance is not a real issue I don’t like to park elsewhere. The mail about the parking was German only and I missed the fact that I should not pay at the parking but offer the card to the receptionist. Well, service was very good and friendly. Room was small but with a large bathroom (ideal for me).

Visited the hotel only for 1 night. Unfortunately was no Restaurant for dinner and in the menu for room service was no big choice. Ordered delivery from outside. The breakfast was good, fresh croissants and even camembert cheese. Very nice and polite Bulgarian girl at the reception. Recommendation for short stay.

The hotel has great spaces for hanging out, having drinks, and the restaurant food was better than I expected. The bar/restaurant staff were very kind and patient with our big group! The room we had was a very good size, plenty of room to spread out suitcases. We liked that it had a full length mirror and place to hang clothes. The bathroom was also spacious with a large shower and lots of counter space. It looked more modern and updated than the room itself. There's parking, for a cost, but it's convenient. The location is fine if you have a car or want to take the bus, which has a stop just across the street. The bed was huge and comfortable. It's also nice that there is a little shop to buy snacks, wine, waters, souvenirs, etc. We wished there a fridge in the room. It seemed some rooms had them and some didn't. There was plenty of room for one in ours. Not a huge deal though. Also there was no clothes iron anywhere on the property apparently. That would've been nice, but again, no big deal. The room was suffering a bit from wear. Nothing too bad, but some stains on the carpet, chips in the furniture, etc. Bedding was very clean though.

Siamo stati qui a settembre di quest'anno per 5 giorni, dato il nostro cibo a notte mentre ci prenotavamo per cena. Questo hotel non era pronto per nessuno di questi 50 ospiti mai pensato, il cibo che ci serviva è stato chiaramente portato in cucina e era inedibile. Amorevole per una notte come un fermo, ma vivendo fuori da una borsa come nessuna schermata o travi, situato nel mezzo di una proprietà industriale con niente vicino. Quando eravamo in giro durante il giorno non avevamo il trasporto da uscire di notte. Pertanto, molto noioso, come la maggior parte della festa di viaggio erano persone anziane, non potevamo andare in città, che era circa mezz'ora per qualcuno che era capace di essere ubriacato. Un giorno siamo tornati a prendere un caffè e hanno fatto uscire. Molto deluso. Non è completamente colpa degli hotel, ma le nostre tour di coach sono responsabili di darci quello che ci è stato promesso.

Das Hotel ist neu, Eröffnung war November 2023. Allerdings hat man sich beim Bau nicht viel Mühe gegeben bzw. reichlich gespart. Das Zimmer ist hellhörig, ein Nachbar duschte sich noch um 0:30 Uhr, ich dachte, es wäre bei mir. Die Wischböden haben keine oder schlechte Trittschalldämmung, man hört jeden Schritt vom Nachbarzimmer. Im Zimmerdesign hat sich ein Architekt ausgetobt, der ganz sicher nie selbst darin wohnen muss: Die Dusche und das Waschbecken sind direkt neben dem Bett! Somit verteilen sich schön die Duschdämpfe und Haare beim Fönen im Zimmer, geschweige von einer ”Privatsphäre”. Das WC ist zum Glück in einem kleinen Raum, aber so winzig, dass man kaum an der Tür vorbei kommt. Es gibt keine Sitzgelegenheit mit Rückenlehne, in der man sich nach einem anstrengenden Tag bequem hinsetzen könnte, nur ein unförmiges Ledersitzkissen. Als ich dies bemängelte, sagte man mir, das wäre so gewollt. Das Konzept will etwas, was der Gast nicht möchte, interessant. Auch sucht man vergeblich einen Schrank oder ein Regal für die Kleidung, es gibt nur eine offene Kleiderstange mit Kleiderbügeln und eine Kofferablage, man lebt also aus dem Koffer. Der Seifenspender am Waschbecken war total verstaubt, der in der Dusche defekt. Ansonsten war das Zimmer hell, 2 riesige Fenster bis zum Boden. Das Doppelbett war bequem. Die Beleuchtung lässt sich schön mit Touchpad vom Bett aus regeln. WLAN funktioniert hervorragend. Das Frühstück war bei meinem Preis von ca. 75 € (1 Person) inklusive. Daher darf man selbstverständlich auch kein Bio-Gourmetfrühstück erwarten. Entsprechend ist daher die Qualität: billige Wurst, Käse, Fertigjoghurt in großen Schüsseln, süßer billiger O-Saft, Fertigbouletten usw. Die Auswahl an sich ist allerdings angemessen reichlich, wie Rührei, Würstchen, Müsli, verschiedene Brötchen, 2 Kaffeautomaten usw. Allerdings werden die Tische nicht regelmäßig abgewischt, man räumt sein Geschirr selber weg. Daher muss man nach einem sauberen Tisch suchen. Der Raum ist riesig und ungemütlich, allerdings ringsum voll verglast, wodurch man zumindest einen schönen Ausblick hatte. Abends gibt es in diesem großen Aufenthaltsbereich auch Essen wie Pizza, Burger, Pasta, Wraps und Salate, wie ich der Karte entnahm. Das Personal war durchgängig wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz ist mit 20 € überteuert und war bereits voll. Ich habe dann nach ca. 5 Minuten Suche einen Parkplatz nur ein paar 100 m entfernt in einer Seitenstraße gefunden, der mit Parkuhr 1 €/Std kostet, wobei nur bis 19 Uhr und ab 9 Uhr bezahlt werden muss. Oder 100 m weiter sogar mit Glück gratis (ich hatte Glück). Insgesamt ein günstiges Hotel mit etlichen Schwächen, die ohne viel Mehrkosten vermeidbar gewesen wären. Zumindest können das andere Budgethotels besser.

The AC will only run when you insert the room key first. So you might enter warm and sticky rooms since the windows open only a small slot. Positive is that the AC is seperately controlled for each room, the temperature are not preset by the hotel or limited to e.g. 20° and equally important blow even on the min. setting sufficiently strong to cool down the room unlike in many other hotel chains (e.g.NH). Most rooms during my stay were in a good condition, but some rooms need a fix up. The worst are those rooms with worn out mattresses, when I wake up in the middle of the night with back pains. Today’s room however tops it all since I noticed left to my pillow the label “Foot End”. Whoever designed the bathroom never took a shower in his design, because even being very careful holding the shower head in the hand and away from the open cabin end, was I able to keep the passage dry, when you leave the shower head in the fixture the complete passage is wet. A cheap wiper to dry the passage would help, since towels are for drying yourself and not the floor. Depending on which side your room faces you might hear guests talking and laughing outside. If you don’t park directly in front of the entrance you have to lift your trolley and carry on over several steps, when you park at the side.

Ottimo servizio, personale disponibile a soddisfare le esigenze. La struttura è molto grande e ben organizzata per ricevimenti o riunioni aziendali. Camere accoglienti e comode. Il reparto Wellnes con la piscina e le varie saune invitano a passare ore di rilassamento.

Sono completamente doloroso, non importa se mi sono messo sul retro o sul lato, è stato doloroso. Ho dovuto cercare di dormire sul stomaco per non andare a dormire. Immagino che, dato che era solo me in camera, era solo una pillola. Non potevo nemmeno mettere un bastone sotto la testa e il mio corpo. Sono stati bisogno di nuove materassi o di piu'perche'era orribile. Come dormire su una roccia di vestiti. La stanza era pulita. Il servizio era buono. Le nostre camere erano già pronte per noi quando siamo arrivati, quindi è stato un def a plus. Perché il colazione non inizia fino alle 0600, sarebbe bello avere un sacchetto di colazione disponibile per gli ospiti aerei dal momento che è sul buono e probabilmente si paga per questo. Facile 15 minuti di auto all'hotel. Ordinò un camion per stamattina. Il camion era 30 euro per metro ieri sera. Il camion stamattina mi ha prelevato 20 euro e il coppia nello stesso auto 25 euro così 45 euro per un 15 giro. Non so se questa pratica comune sia quella di farlo. Non si è nemmeno girato il suo metro. Penso che si fosse solo caricando quello che voleva. Che non era giusto.
