I can’t say enough nice things about this place, it is just dreamy! Imagine a romantic country manor with red creeping ivy and little chickens running about the place.. a garden marquis with a small fire pit to warm your hands in the centre, of course a babbling brook with a little chapel across its bridge, a luxurious spa area with outdoor jacuzzi for morning dips, an organic free range restaurant The Strawberry Tree serving the finest freshest of ingredients picked from their own onsite organic farm, an authentic little Italian restaurant Armento serving large comforting plates of Italian anti pasti & pasta dishes & meats, the warm welcome of Acton’s bar a traditional Irish tavern serving fine pints of Guinness or Vitamin G as I like to call it & delicious gastro pub cuisine, their Waterside lounge that serves a sophisticated afternoon tea, The warm cosy rooms, and of course last but definitely not least the Fabulous Engaging Wonderful Friendly Staff who are at the heart of this establishment and are the reason we would always return.

A brilliantly designed hotel and spa, convenient to attractions, Brook Lodge was a refreshing stop on our driving trip through Ireland. The spa facilities were beautiful and immaculately maintained, the extensive grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere—designed to look and feel like an old-world spa— was conducive to a very relaxing stay. Breakfasts afforded a variety of choices in a spacious and airy setting. The service, too, was cheerful and attentive throughout the property. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff ,really helpful , relaxing immaculate hotel . The food was excellent and the location really welcoming . Quiet location with beautiful gardens . We booked late as a couple and the staff accommodated us easily without fuss

A first class hotel. Facilities are amazing - large comfortable rooms, several great options for eating and the best spa pool ever. Above all its the staff that set this hotel apart. They are incredible helpful, professional and welcoming.

Perfect stay, only one night, but not long enough!! Lovely room, breakfast very tasty, so much of a selection! and of course the staff are so nice and can’t do enough for you! So relaxing in the pool, spa and then the gardens! Food in La Taverna was so good, can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

Picturesque, charming and wholesome. We went there this weekend for my hubbie’s birthday. The attention to detail was amazing but the outstanding attributes of this hotel are the staff, they create a gorgeous atmspphere and you feel so welcome. It’s our new favourite place. Loved the little hens running around it’s truly gorgeous.

Was expecting a luxury stay for myself and my partner, it was mediocre at best. Really disappointing the room is dated and not too clean, bed extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was horrific, long wait times. Spa is a disaster, falling down.

A top couples retreat away for The August Bank Holiday weekend. Suite 9 our favourite with vistas out to the gardens, to the church, the Bridge & streams. Also right side of our room windows over look the fabulous orchards. Stunning bar food till 6 pm in the Waterside Lounge. Cocktails too. Delicious steak sambo with home style onion rings. The most tasty side salad with a delicious dressing. Served with crusted crisp bread. Soups always available prawns. Great bar food menu..desserts for the sweet tooth. Why not. Top class service here always. No visit is complete unless you visit the Famous Strawberry Tree organic food. Amazing fusions of food taste delightful for your pallet. From sika to duck to steak to fish. In between muse boucle. Sorbets to cleanse ones palate. Deserts are superb delicious ice cream, tiramsue so much choice. Breakfast is equally a delight..excellent team serving everyone so attentive always. Nothing like excellent service with smiles. Very well run hotel. Team work.so shows. Fine good training. The spa is amazing heavenly treatments massage, facials to name a few Beautiful walks around the grounds. Spotted a deer swimming in the stream before he hurried off again.
