MainStay Suites - Wichita NE

stayed here for free using choice points and wish I stayed somewhere else. our room door was propped open by the lock latch when we first got there, which we found odd. no toilet paper. the room was really dirty. the 3rd floor smelled like nasty seafood boil and the elevator was rough stopping. someone was in the back of the hotel dumping trash into the trees from his truck. only positive was the front desk worker Cindy, who was friendly. definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

In the area for work and had intended to stay longer but the hotel was so bad I moved to another hotel Room was filthy Keys would not work and had to change them out numerous times in a one week stay Microwave didn’t work and asked to have it repaired or get a new one and they never fixed it Bugs in the room Front desk staff was nice

Staff were very responsive and helpful. The property met my needs for a week-long stay. There are maintenance issues that seem to come from higher up than the staff. I wonder if hotel ownership is lacking skills or resources.

We will not be back to this hotel. The hallways reeked of an awful odor, I literally had to hold my nose walking to my room. Our room key didn't work, even after getting 3 different ones. We had to put it in and out at least 4-5 times. One of our friends room was dirty and bed not changed.
