Premier Inn Edinburgh A1 (Musselburgh)

Place was good and clean. As we don’t drive location was not really good for us though there was bus stop near to the place. It would be fine if there was no holidays, but since we went on new years there was no bus on that day and having an early flight we have to go before sunrise and there was no streetlight at all, it was scary. I guess we just booked it at the wrong time of the year, unless you drive it would be a good place to stay.

先説優點。這家客棧就在愛丁堡市郊，大約10公里車程，位置不錯。愛丁堡市內的住宿價格高，而且停車困難。所以，選擇在這裏住宿相當不錯；另外就是停車很方便，酒店門口就是停車場，停車位充足。一晚9磅，這個停車費水平在英國簡直就是白菜價，對於自駕來説非常友好。客棧門口能看到英國的田園風光，很漂亮。缺點就是價格不便宜，沒電梯，雖然樓層不高，衹有3層，但行李多的話，要費點勁。房間的空調不能自行調節，熱得夠嗆。其他沒有啥毛病。

room had not been cleaned properly and rubbish plus and old sock was found, not to mention the really really bad body odour and feet smell from the room it was almost unbearable, we had to clean the room before we settled after a 9 hour drive to scotland. please check the roomas and for the love of god vent them and spray airfreshener,

This was a very noisy premier inn with doors banging until 3am and I’ve visited quieter petting zoos if I’m honest, it was a very unremarkable venue with almost no furniture in our room but space to ballet if I felt the inclination and oddly enough no running hot water in the sink. But the car parking was good and the staff was friendly and polite. The food in the pub next door left a lot to be desired with it being dried out under a heat lamp while I guess my steak was cooked but the drinks was what you expect and you recognise with no nasty surprises. So all in all, I will not use this location again for sure and I’d sooner not travel than book another premier Inn if they are all this bad.

Positives - Friendly staff, warm welcome, comfortable bed, large room with lovely view, clean fluffy towels, great shower. Brewster Fayre right next door with excellent food and drinks. Negatives - cleanliness not as high as usual, but acceptable enough, room was a bit tired looking. If transport needed, there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk away if you turn right, alternatively, there’s a free phone for Premier Taxis in the reception area. Probably best off booking in advance as it’s one fella, very friendly and reasonably priced. Note - Uber don’t pick up from there but will drop off

One of the worst stays in a Premier Inn. Lack of car parking. Room temp was on 28 deg and the heater was on full blast. Window was very small with not much air circulations. Ordered a family room, not enough towels. No cold setting on the shower only hot or hot. Would not stay here again.
