This hotel was pretty cool and I loved the historical aspect. When we checked in, the staff member was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and recommended places around the area that we did end up visiting and were happy we did! We had an awesome time. I do want to note that the hotel is very old, and very crooked from years of shifting lol. We had a slit under our door that anyone could have slid anything under from the other side that I wasn't a big fan of. There was lots of water damage on the ceilings from over the years. I was taller than my husband when I stood at one end of our room due to the tilting floor, and we laughed about that. It definitely shows it's wear and character which was neat to us but I think it may be helpful for others who may be looking for something a bit different. Keep in mind this is a historical hotel! We woke up to trains going by at 3 am which was also cool but you may want to bring ear plugs if that's something you don't want to deal with. Overall, we were happy with our experience for our Winter getaway. It was unique, memorable and the staff was fantastic!
