Crescent Lodge Guest House

We were welcomed by Gwen on our arrival who explained everything we needed to know, the breakfast was excellent all good quality ingredients cooked by Lee and the different time slot option is great as there is no waiting its ready for you at the set time, the room including the bathroom were spotless and very modern and done to a very high quality, the onsite parking is a bonus at no extra charge. It's a 10 minute walk down hill to the centre of the town but a bit of a slog coming back up the hill especially after a few beers! so a taxi was called for the 2nd night we was there, the town is lovely with plenty of shops, pubs and eateries along with all the historical aspect of it to, it was the pirate festival weekend so there was plenty going on during the day and evening with pirates everywhere:) Overall we had a love stay and when we come back again we will make sure we stay at the crescent Lodge Guest House.

This was a return visit and my stay was as good as the first time. The room was spacious and clean, as was the shower room. The bed was comfortable. The fridge is a bonus, with fresh milk for tea and coffee. There is a menu choice for breakfast and these were well cooked. Gwen and Lee are very welcoming hosts and I have booked again for next year.
