Birch House Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in the Green room which had everything we could possibly need, very spacious and clean. Breakfast (full English) was very good and the hosts made sure we left the table happy. The house is beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome and would definitely go again. We took the buses to the seafront which was easy and convenient so no need to use our car.

We stayed just the one night at Birch House on our way down to family in Devon. The property is spotlessly clean and has a warm and homely welcome. Our triple room (Golden) was nicely decorated and very comfortable. It had tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits in the room as well as a TV. The bathroom was spacious and everything was provided for. The breakfast in the morning was top quality and freshly cooked, and it was nice to dine with a view of the lovely garden. We parked on the road as there was no room on the driveway but this was not an issue. The B&B is walkable (if you are fit and like to walk) into Weymouth town and beach, but it is like a 1.5 mile walk each way. I walked it in the morning before breakfast and it was easy and pleasant. It is a very good value B&B for a couple wanting to stay in the Weymouth area.

What a gorgeous B&B - stunning decor, clean and very comfortable. Kathy, the host, was friendly and welcoming and we started each day with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended and I hope to be back!

This is the best B&B I have ever used. Everything was perfect, from the spacious room to the delicious breakfast, definately a fabulous 5 star experience. Thank you so much, hopefully we will be back.

My wife and I had a week long stay in August and were able to check in with minimal fuss. Kathy was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, rooms were turned and tea making facilities etc replenished daily. Breakfast had plenty on offer and was delicious! Parking was a little tricky on the drive but there seemed to be ample space on the road in front of the B&B, it's also away from the action (depending on your point of view that could be a selling point!). You won't need your car as the bus service in Weymouth is excellent - we paid £25 each for a week ticket (valid for use all over Dorset) which I think represented excellent value for money as we would have easily racked up more in parking and fuel. A bus stop taking you to Weymouth seafront is located around 2 minutes walk from Birch House, they run every 20 minutes. Overall; our stay in Weymouth was a happy one and where you stay plays a huge part in that. We would definitely stay again!
