Sick on Pillow in a sealed bag 🤢 We checked in, staff were nice and location was very good, just a minute from the sea and easy walking to beach and town. However we had a toddler with us, so we opened the sealed bag to get the 2 spare pillows One of them was wet and had vomit on it 🤯, how did they even get inside a sealed bag? The staff most not of checked it? We complained and 1 staff said “oh that’s naughty” Implying someone didn’t check them. Then we wrote a letter of complaint to head office, they just said it’s no problem as the pillow was replaced. They had nothing to say about lack of hygiene, no apology and no offer of compensation. We have stayed with premier inn many times but this incident shows what will happen if something like this happens, they won’t be too bothered as long as they have your money. Thanks premier inn. Nice customer service. Not Interested in staying with you again

The hotel looked a bit tired and not up to my previous PI experiences. Our main gripe is that the WC took a long time - at least 20 mins - to fill the cistern between flushes - hardly a comfortable nor hygienic experience for two people sharing. I understand that many rooms had this problem as we were told it was not possible to change rooms. I find it extraordinary that this issue is known but not dealt with . I would add that the standard of cleanliness was below expectations - particularly the bathrooms. Further, there was no heating in the bathrooms and no way of drying towels although, after complaining, we were told we could collect fresh towels daily - but hardly a great service.

We had a comfortable stay in a clean and tidy room. However, the hotel was full the night we stayed and check-in was a bit slow due to a number of guests arriving at the same time (couldn’t be helped). Staff were very friendly, helpful and as efficient as possible during the check-in process. The Reception area is small which made a busy check-in situation uncomfortable. Although fine for my husband and I, it was a bit of a maze to get to our room on the second floor and we weren’t aware of any lifts, making accessibility difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Our room was a clean, tidy and spacious standard double room. Sheets, pillows and towels were good and the temperature of the room was easy to adjust. Tea and coffee making facilities were adequate. One unpleasant downside was the stained limescaled toilet bowl. Apart from this, the room was of a good Premier Inn standard. We didn’t use the restaurant for any meals so can’t comment on that. Location-wise All in all we had a pleasant stay here, but the hotel is a bit tired and in need of updating.

No batteries in remote control Staff had no batteries in the whole hotel so gave me one that stunk of smoke after approaching them 4 times The menu had chewed food on it. Cars doing donuts at midnight the two nights I was there.one big lady blonde at reception didn't seem interested and felt like she just wanted me to go away. Too many staff chit chatting when you're booking in

Sadly, we had a disappointing stay as standards have significantly declined. The bed wasn’t that comfortable, the toilet didn’t flush properly and the room wasn’t very clean. We declined the meal and breakfast deal because the restaurant wasn’t clean and the WC’s were truly unacceptable, with an overpowering stench, which I can only liken to public toilets that are rarely cleaned and have never seen disinfectant or bleach. In another set of WC’s the toilet was leaking, along with the radiator. Cleanliness standards really need addressing sooner rather than later.
