My partner and myself always looked forward all year to coming to Weymouth and staying here ,my previous reviews always praised this hotel to the max ,but not this time !!! We were given a room 128 which was terrible ,it was cramped ,no storage ,dirty and the only window opened onto a dirty pigeon infested courtyard with an expel air that sounded like an aircraft taking off .the room was not fit for purpose. Manager Savio wasn't at all helpful and extremely patronising when I asked him if he would stay in a room like that he replied " that when he went on holiday he didn't stay in hotels" .Mae the female manager was helpful tho so have to give her a thumbs up Security was a joke ,Manager outside smoking when tried to get key ,could of taken any key to any room . Food was average and restaurant and bar staff ok. I just wish the people in charge would read the reviews and admit there is a problem with this hotel ,and realise not everyone can book a sea view room( not available when booking ) ,and have to stay in rotten sub standard room ,we understand Daishs format and dot expect silk sheets and four poster beds but what a shame it's gone so far down hill
