My son his wife, my daughter and I stayed two nights . We had such a relaxing time. Cheryl was a perfect host. The place is so peaceful and beautiful. We love the horses, the porch cat but especially Sammie the sweetest white lab. The rooms are wonderful. The breakfasts served by Cheryl herself are to die for. We had a wonderful experience.

This was the second one-night stay for my husband and me on our drive from Illinois to Florida, and we enjoy the place so much that we’re considering making it a destination in the future and staying for several nights. The house, the grounds, the barns (and the host!) are all just lovely. Thank you, Cheryl, for opening your entire place to us and for making us feel so welcome.

This was our second time staying with Cheryl at Bluegrass Country Estate and, as always, it was a very special delightful experience. Cheryl has been doing this for many years and it's very apparent she loves what she's doing and has lots of returning guests. We (my husband, sister and brother-in law) stayed for 4 nights, 4 delicious gourmet breakfasts, a full day Bourbon Trail Tour recommended by Cheryl, trolley tour of Louisville, Horse Barn tour and dinner in Barn 8, wonderful dinner restaurants . . . and the added benefit of company from Sammy (the "smiling" doggy) and the two horses as well -- on beautiful grounds in a beautiful home with a hot tub, swimming pool, theatre room, exercise room (everything you would want and/or need in your accommodations). Needless to say, we will return . . . and YOU need to book this remarkable place today!!

We came to Kentucky to do the bourbon trail and decided to stay outside of Louisville. So glad we did! This was a beautiful place to stay and Cheryl was so accommodating! We stayed in the Steeplechase Suite and it was very comfortable and roomy. The breakfasts were spectacular! We also enjoyed sweet Sammy, her Labrador. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back!

from the initial reservation to our arrival to the spectacular view and ambience, to the hospitality of the owner, it was one of the best weekends away we’ve had in a very long time. And for the breakfast part, the food was phenomenal. We stayed in the turf room. Had a chance to mix and mingle with the other guests that were there. Everyone was very accommodating. Definitely beats the hotel drag.
