The hotel's renovation proceeds well, with the vast majority of the building looking very smart with excellent facilities. I had to point out to the hotel, as is the case in many hotels globally, that changes in facilities and policies leave all textual information (eg. the online guide, menus, notices etc) out of date. I read the small print and asked for everything it promised but was not present. I asked for the missing sofa bed, safe, bathrobes, chocolates etc. The staff work tirelessly but are short handed for the task. While I was there new staff were being hired so all these matters are being addressed. I am indebted to duty manger Raj KC who went above and beyond in helping me cope with my problems, as an elderly man with fading eyesight and hearing, and medical challenges typical of my age group in Britain, in sending a 30 kilogram item I bought to the North West. I very much appreciated his advice and assistance and wish him all the best in his future career.

Dining for one last night was a pleasant experience for once. My server Zoe was lovely & very professional. Good was ok and service was excellent.

Food was very nice and good portion. Zoe was very friendly and helpful food came out quickly and kids ate free. Great price for the money paid.

Never stayed here as we're local but just stopped in for lunch after using the health club, of which I'm a member. I wanted to make use of my 25% membership discount on food and drinks :) The food and service were very good. Even though they were very busy with a large event, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Adrian who recommended items from the menu and made sure we had everything we needed.

Very nice room, excellent service in the Restaurant from the lovely Zoe. The hotel was easily found on SatNav by postcode. It is in a quiet location but near a main road. Bar and Restaurant very handy to have. Our room was as described and pictured on the IHG site.

Fantastic experience , front office f house staff so friendly , breakfast staff are very welcoming , friendly , food is cooked to perfection , staff going on the A list are , Nikki for breakfast , Amanda looking after the Bar , and finally Pooja reception , the hotel is very clean and welcoming , 5 stars from me

The hotels is served by friendly staff who are always welcome and helpful. Especially Elizabeth, Anthony, Kinga on the bar. The front desk Raj and George. Nicki and Sandra on breakfast is alway happy to help. The rooms are clean and comfortable and a good size.

This hotel is the best ING hotels I have stayed in all staff are very polite helpful & friendly, I cannot speak too highly of the reception staff both Philip & George made myself & my husband feel extremely welcome nothing was too much trouble for them. I am disabled & the rooms we have stayed in are always spotless comfortable & large

My wife and I stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding locally. Everything about the stay impressed us, from the staff welcoming us through to the breakfast on the final morning. The duty manager, Raj, asked to be mentioned in the review, so Raj, thank you and your staff. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the room was wonderfully quiet. We very much recommend this hotel, and it is just a shame that it is too close to us that we will struggle to find excuses to stay again.
