I have visited this Westin property before, however, it was not as uncomfortable and slightly difficult as this one. Day/Night 1 there was hair and brown stains on the sheets. I was too exhausted from travel to request assistance, new bedding, or even a new room. Therefore, I cranked up the heat and slept on top of the bedding. The next day I requested room service to change the bedding only to return to the same issue of the hair and light brown stains on the bedding. To say the least my entire stay I slept on top of the bedding. The carpet in my room had stains. While in the room once, room service placed the comforter on the floor! Yikes. There were soooo many guests with about 2-3 guest service members I just decided to settle with the conditions. In addition, I could not enjoy the relaxation of being in my room because I was placed next to a room that was receiving repairs. Which means loud banging, drilling, slamming doors. This was everyday! I had no choice but rose early between 7:30am-8:30am, so no sleeping in or catching up on rest for me. That sucks. Then returning to the room during the afternoon was the same issue. Once I had the television volume on 100 that’s how long it was. I would call guest services from my room and it would ring continuously or no ring at all. The on property smoking is an issue as well. I think the property should consider creating a designated area for smokers.
A week’s stay, I would loved a more enhanced experience.
