Remote Waterfall Cabin at Swiftwater Acres

Magical and Peaceful Retreat This cabin is truly a hidden gem. Nestled on 45 private acres and right beside stunning waterfalls, it’s the most relaxing and peaceful place I’ve ever stayed. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple looking to completely unplug and unwind. The large deck overlooks the falls, and there’s a separate spot down a short path with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs—pure magic. The host was fantastic—thoughtful, responsive, and respectful of privacy. Though we never met in person, he checked in through VRBO to make sure everything was perfect and reminded me that the entire 45 acres were mine to explore. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Exactly What We Needed Swiftwater Acres offers the peaceful solitude we so needed! We immediately felt it as soon as we pulled into the long driveway surrounded by lush forest! The waterfalls on the property (literally right off the deck) brought a sense of relaxation and tranquility (it’s actually scientifically proven of waterfalls). We enjoyed the fire-pit and stars at night, hammocks on the deck, and coffee in the mornings all surrounded by the most glorious sounds and sights of nature! Easy to find, WiFi was strong, We appreciated that everything that is offered in the listing was in fact there and usable. We accessed the trail and hiked to Stairway Lake which was beautiful and we also visited Raymondskill Falls which was magnificent! Lots of Great places to eat in nearby Milford. Apple Valley was great for dinner and also has shops and mini golf. David was an Outstanding host! Could not ask for better! Will definitely return!

Bliss I've stayed at David's properties for a few years now and he is always an excellent host. There if you need him, but is very respectful of privacy. This was my first stay at Swiftwater Acres and there are no words to describe the beauty, bliss, and peacefulness of this property and the surrounding area. By far, the hardest vacation I ever had to say goodbye to. Thank you again David and Chris for sharing your paradise

Great weekend in the wilderness David’s property is exactly as advertised. Remote, relaxing and fantastic! Check in process was easy, we were able to check in a little early. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend away. We hiked to the lake. Such a great trip! Will be back next year.

Amazing Weekend! My husband and I had the perfect getaway weekend celebrating our 20th anniversary! Everything was perfect! Absolutely gorgeous cabin and property!! We hope to be back soon!
