Kirindi Paddy Isle – A Peaceful Retreat Surrounded by Nature We stayed here on the night of 5th November on full board. The property has a charming, rustic character, set within a beautiful tree-filled garden surrounded by wide open paddy fields. It feels private, quiet, and very naturally Sri Lankan. The food was simple, fresh, and very well prepared. The constant breeze, the birds, and the view of green fields made it a truly relaxing stay. What we appreciated most was the sense of calm and the absence of unnecessary noise or activity. It is the kind of place where you can simply rest and breathe. The hospitality was excellent. Gihan (manager), Mala (butler), Nerajan (chef), and Dayananda (gardener) were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, showing the best of relaxed Sri Lankan hospitality. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with a private plunge pool and well-kept bathrooms. We left feeling refreshed and content. I would recommend Kirindi Paddy Isle to anyone who loves nature, birdlife, and quiet surroundings, and who wants a break away from the usual rush of daily life.
