Where do I even begin? My experience at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. We booked a ‘premium’ room with high expectations, made a direct booking, and paid in advance—only to have it all completely wasted. We arrived early with the intention of dropping off our luggage and exploring the city. We requested to inspect the room beforehand but were outright denied because it was allegedly occupied. At the hotel’s kitchen, I attempted to place a lunch order but was told to wait until 1 PM, so we left for our tour. When we returned around 12:30-1 PM, we were finally allowed to see our room, and it was appalling. The room was far from ready, disorganized, and in poor condition. For the price of 6K per night, we were beyond disappointed. We immediately rejected the room and tried to reach the manager for a resolution, but despite assurances, he never showed up. To top off the disgraceful service, at 5 PM, I received a call from one of the hotel employees, accusing us of not having our lunch. He scolded us with “ye aap acha nahi kiye,” as if the fault was ours for not having a meal we never even ordered. The irony was overwhelming. This hotel completely failed in every aspect of hospitality, and I will never return. Truly, thank you for such a disastrous experience.
