Zanzi resort is a veritable corner of paradise in a setting of calm and pleasure ! A big thanks to the whole staff. The team is very kind, attentive and professional it was a magical stay and we'll be delighted to go back. we highly recommend it!

If you are looking for a beautiful location with excellent service, you will be very happy at Zanzi Resort. We stayed in villa number 5, the villa has everything you need and the staff will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Included : Coffee and tea station Flashlight and lighter Umbrellas Room safe Anaya soap, shampoo, conditioner Hair dryer Bath robes Outdoor shower Private pool and cabana Path to the ocean FOOD : the chef will accommodate any request and his dishes look like a work of art. Excellent flavours and choice to suit your taste. Staff : the manager, Nivot was very kind and courteous. He will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. TIPS : Beach shoes are necessary as the shoreline is rocky. Cheetah’s Rock is 10 minutes away and well worth a visit. Book a massage, the ladies are wonderful and you overlook the ocean and listen to the waves during your choice of treatment. Stone Town is a short drive and they will arrange a driver to take you on a tour, we customized our tour, to see what interested us. This is a small hotel and a great escape, I would definitely return.

the reason why we went back to the Zanzi Resort is quite simple: it is just perfect for what we looked for: privacy and quiet. check; comfort and moderated luxury, check; beautiful nature, check; good food, check; well trained staff, check; relaxing and energizing atmosphere, check, check... What we particularly appreciated is the absence of noise, loud music, people chatting next to you etc...gardens both private and common areas are well maintained, the private access to the sea is an interesting way to get into the waters, the jetty is the perfect place to read and relax for hours, just occasionally diving into the sea to refresh and with a bit of good luck capture the eyesight of a dolphin. a special mention goes to the restaurant staff and the chef: the food is definitely outstanding and makes the food experience unique every day. see you soon

I don’t consider it a five star, there is only one restaurant, no coffee machines in the crib, the pool is always freezing cold, they cleared that there will be no life guards. no beach to walk , only sea view. When I reached I noticed they don’t offer bottled water, only tap water. Which is unacceptable. The staff service is very slaw even though they are polite . I loved the dinner menu

We arrived at Zanzibar resort after spending a fantastic week at safari in Tansania. We enjoyed the villa, the private pool, food was excellent, however service at the restaurant was so slow that we had to wait for 40 mins for water and wine. Visitors, who stayed at the hotel for several nights, would come to dinner with cards to pass the time while waiting for dinner. The most disturbing was that some of our personal items was stolen for the room/our bags and the hotel mgmt still were not able to either locate the missing items or do anything about it.

One of the Best Place to be. I recommend this place for any one to visit. All was good and I recommend this place. Staffs and environments are all arranged in a very professional and attractive manner. I will be back for sure. My girlfriend was so excited to be there

Me and my husband spent our honeymoon at Zanzi resort and couldn’t be happier with our choice thanks to the excellent welcoming, service, and experience at the resort for our 10 nights stay. We stayed at the villa with ocean access, which was amazing with everything you needed, the service was flawless and the staff very nice and polite. The food was very good giving us a great selection of daily brunches and a new five course dinner every evening. The beverages were nice with a broad selection of wine, sparkling wine, drinks, and juices. Apart from having our meals either by the villa or at the restaurant, we also had a private dinner set up for us by the beach one night. We can highly recommend this resort for those seeking a private holiday, there were days we didn’t even meet another guest for the entire day. The resort is big with nice walking trails within the garden, you get a nice jungle feeling when meeting monkeys and other friends, and the common areas with pool, beach, and the jetty together with offerings to borrow SUPs, and snorkeling equipment etc., was very nice. Staff was happy to help us plan our different day trips and activities and they were very personal following up after each activity. We would be happy to come back again in the future and re-live our honeymoon! ❤ Big thanks to everyone giving us a most pleasant stay! /Johanna & Jens

I recommend to book a villa with a private pool as the hotel beach is a bit rocky, however you can swim from a pier. This hotel is for relaxation in the privacy of the villa, not for classic beach experience. So it made a very nice addition to our stay in Paje and Nungwi as the vibe was completely different.
