Very comfortable, quiet, and spacious room in a great location to visit Glacier park. Staff is very friendly and gave recommendations for local restaurants. They have a nice gift shop and a pool on site. Nothing else to say but I have to fill 200 characters.

We stayed in the Black Bear Cabin in Hungry Horse, MT for one week in Aug. '23. It looks good but: 1) The beds in two of the bedrooms were so high could have used a step stool to get into them and lumpy and not very comfortable once I did! 2) Had to monitor the toilet every time it was flushed to make sure it would stop running. If we hadn't done this, it probably would have overflowed the septic tank in a week. 3) The deck on the back is an absolute hazard, especially for seniors and children. Uneven boards all over it, no railing anywhere around it and is 3 to 4 feet above the ground. It's an accident waiting to happen. Not at all what you would expect for over $3,000.00 for one week. Kitchen was okay, except for the refrigerator door being backwards.

What a great little place to stay. I have been staying in a lot of places lately and they are just missing the mark on smell. This smelled fresh and clean the minute we walked into the room. The room was a little small, but really cute. Pool is nice, and we will definitely be back.

We loved our 2 bedroom cabin at Beargrass. The room was very clean and comfortable and the owner that helped us was very kind and informative about Glacier National Park. The hotel was priced well and only 10 minutes from the west entrance of GNP

Family owned facilities that are maintained like they live here (they do). Clean RV Park that is small and almost all of the sites are on grass. Saw the owner out almost every day watering the grass, or maintaining and upgrading the facility. Play area for the kids, swimming pool, very clean laundry area. There are also motel rooms available if you have that need. Definitely recommend a stay here, conveniently located on MT Rte 2 with east access to Glacier NP, Hungry Horse Resevoir, Jewell Basin in Bigfork MT and restaurants and businesses in Columbia Falls. Only drawback is traffic noise from Rte 2 but a sound machine at night will easily fix that. ALSO REASONABLY PRICED - some places I checked were more than twice the price!

We loved it at the Bear Grass. Duane runs a tight ship, he has a lot of pride in his park. The place has everything you need and I thought it was very quiet and located perfectly. Everything was really clean! They really helped out with Glacier National Park info and gave us some awesome tips. The park was pretty small, that was perfect for us, it gave us time to meet people. It was quiet when it was supposed to be. The kids enjoyed the pool.

My husband and I stayed two nights mid-September on our 15-day national park road trip. We were pleasantly surprised by this gem of a lodge! While we were expecting a typical budget motel vibe, this newly remodeled and refreshed lodge had the feel of a quality hotel! Everything felt new, fresh and clean. The beds were heavenly, the towels were big and plush, and the shower was amazing. The decor was super cute, and there were so many quality items to buy in the gift shop. Make sure to check out the huckleberry store within walking distance. The front desk was friendly and provided good restaurant recommendations (go to Columbia Falls). It is close to the west entrance of Glacier. I do wish there was a coffeemaker in the room as we left for the park before the office opened (which offered free coffee).

We stayed for one night for a brief break from camping in Glacier National Park. Our family of four stayed in a two queen room, which was cozy and very clean. The rooms look all updated, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was very helpful in suggesting hikes and our kids enjoyed the pool. Overall, it was a perfect pit stop between the east and west sides of Glacier National Park.

This place seems to be a well kept secret! It was so cozy, quiet and peaceful and had everything we needed. We stayed in the King Deluxe room with our kids and it was amazing! Had a fridge, stove, microwave and dining table to be able to eat meals in while preparing to our park visits. The owners are incredibly friendly (as are most ppl we met in Montana) and we feel so fortunate to have stumbled onto this place. Truly such a great vacation and incredible stay here. Hope to come back to visit again someday!
