Travelodge Okehampton Whiddon Down is a convenient place to stay on route to Cornwall, or exploring Dartmoor or Bodmin Moor. I found the hotel very clean, quiet, with pleasant, helpful and friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. Very near there is an excellent Inn with good food. I would recommend Whiddon Down Travelodge for a multi night stay to exploring the area or on route to Cornwall.

We stayed here on 27th Feb. I had booked an accessible room when we arrived, and the receptionist confirmed that the room was accessible but had a bath and not a shower, but I not to worry as there were a lot of grab rails. Luckily, my disability doesn't require me to use a wheelchair, as the room would have been far too small to get one in , The bathroom did have a lot of grabrails but accessible it was not, Then came the beds, it was a twin room with beds so small we were frightened to turn over, and also very low and uncomfortable. Also, it had the smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel with only one socket that could be used and that was behind the TV. However, the room was clean

Great stop off on my way to Cornwall, cracking little pub 200 yes down the road as well. Comfortable clean room as you would xpct from Travlodge.

This was the first time I stayed in this hotel on a business trip thought it would be convenient as it’s located on the motorway but upon arrival hotel looks in okay condition but the room inside is very dated extremely dirty as I found genital hairs rubbish and a damp smell in my room And I had to sleep with the windows open throughout the night which made it extremely cold The bathroom had such a bad smell. I was unable to even take a bath.

Have stayed in much better travelodges .hooks like it hasn't been updated since the 70s.shame as the staff where very plesent

Only stayed for a night, but both team members we met were great - friendly and very helpful. Couldn’t fault it really. Slight issue with one side light not coming on in the bedroom, and would like better selection of teas and coffees, but lovely reception staff and overall great value for money. Would definitely come back!

Clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet. Good restaurant next door. Check opening hours on arrival. Welcoming members of staff. Annoying to have to write 200 characters for a review. So Im now just waffling. More characters needed so sorry to bore you.

What a great place to stop off on the A30. Everything about it was easy and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s next to a little café and petrol station so when I realised close to midnight that I hadn’t got my charger for my phone, I was able to pick one up at the petrol station. It’s also very quiet despite being so close to the road.

Lottie on reception was outstanding,very welcoming,very professional and a credit to this establishment the room is also very clean facilities around services were not as good but ok I would highly recommend this travelodge especially in the off season 👌
