Wengen: hotel con bar

Our room was opposite the lift, room 208 but we're fine it as not many human traffic movements heard during our stay. Thanks to the hotel arrangement for the room facing the mountains and it was phenomenal and picturesque. Memorable! One thing to note that the door at the balcony was a bit at the loose end, that you have to push really hard to lock it. It was super chilly in the evening, sometimes the warmer works but sometimes it doesn't, in the event if the temperature outside drop to below -10°, the room will be super cold and you have to rely on the blankets to keep you warm instead. Overall, the room, free WIFI, breakfast and public facilities did meet our expectation. The wellness area on the other hand, is a bit over-crowded in the evening and there were no signs of free towel anywhere. I'd figure out myself that the towels are available in each of the compartment in the wellness area as long as there are no other belongings from guests. There's a small playground right in front of the hotel, had some fun with my kid playing snow and slide.

Sono stato esplicitamente accolto da quasi tutti i membri, tutto da check-in a check-out va così tranquillo e sorprendentemente veloce. Grazie per aver fatto del mio breve soggiorno un'esperienza inoltrabile!

I've been coming to Regina for several decades. It has always been a home away from home. It is one of very few hotels that has managed to keep the luxury and allure throughout many years. They adhere to a very high standard on every level. For many it might feel antiquated, but if you're looking for something that is truly unique, that has stood the test of time and is not just another generic modern day luxury hotel, this is the place to be. There's not many hotels where you can sit in a lounge by a warm log fire, playing a board game while a pianist is playing. It's a hotel that is filled with history, warmth and kindness.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, The bathroom was a bit small, but still quite functional. We loved sitting on our balcony and enjoying the incredible view of the mountains and valley. The buffet breakfast on the patio was also very enjoyable. You also have to have dinner there at least once. The food, prepared by a top chef was unique and superb. Above all, the service was excellent throughout our stay. The owners always tried very hard to accommodate us, and they succeeded. We highly recommend the Maya Caprice. MB & JB, Upper Saddle River, NJ

Il panorama fuori dal balcone è così bello, è un hotel molto storico. Dovrebbe essere la vecchia casa ricco in Europa, quindi alcune camere sono belle camere di padrone, camere ospiti, alcune sono camere molto cattive di persone, come le camere singole, piccole e scarse, e non c'è nessun paesaggio. La nostra camera doppia è molto bella. A causa della portata dei bambini, non si presta attenzione a scegliere tre letti quando si prenota. È necessario un accoppiamento temporaneo del cameriere. La bella ragazza della reception è molto paziente e ha dato un prezzo molto vantaggioso. Si sente molto bene. Il difetto è che, anche se è più di 300 metri dalla stazione, è una collina. Ogni persona che arriva all'hotel è come un bue e deve tornare all'hotel per salire sulla montagna.

Stayed here for a night after a gap of 30 years - amazing views! Superb location with traditional rooms. Quiet and expect to escape from TV and your phone. Very helpful staff who really look after you. Breakfast was good and plenty of places in Wengen for dinner if you don’t do half board. Very minor feedback- kettles in room would be good for those of us who like coffee with our first dawn view of the Jungfrau

The hotel has a lovely setting with views right across the valley, it was very relaxing having a beer in the garden with those views after a long day of hiking. Our room had a balcony, again with a beautiful view, the room was comfortable & spacious. This is a very busy hotel and the restaurant in the evening was full but service was still very good. The menu is a set menu, with a choice of main course (from memory) and we had a great meal here. There were lots of cosy places to sit and have a free coffee after your meal. The next day we hiked to Lauterbrunnen where we took a cable car to start our hike to Murren.
