Fire alarm kept going off in the evening and early morning as someone was smoking in their room and then had to have a cold shower as there was no hot water in my bathroom.

It stated that the hotel had been upgraded and the room was very clean and well presented with an excellent walk in shower. Comfortable bed. Lots of free parking. It’s no frills but perfect for an overnight stay. There was no road noise and the McDonald’s next door didn’t cause problems.

There was no A/C in the room (221) and this wasn't mentioned anywhere on your website. I have a medical condition that got aggravated because the room was too hot and uncomfortable. The kids couldn't sleep either and I ended up opening the windows during the night and this felt unsafe. I didn't get any sleep and it wasn't a good value/money well spent (£116) for a night.

Why does my review keep getting removed, we stayed for one night only last Sunday night Monday morning, well all i can say is wot an experience we had. We ordered a pizza takeaway, which was delivered great. A guy out side said could he have some slices please, I said no as they had just been delivered and our £30 of food. We had a buy one get one pizza free, but both pizzas different, as we smoke we kept going outside for a cigarette, to be asked all the time for a cigarette, the people told us they are homeless, and living in the travel Lodge, 1 guy was a total acholic but polite, we took our spare pizzas outside to them and they ate it, stating travel lodge only give them noodles. If I was told this before staying there, we would never have stayed.

The location is perfect. Staff are so friendly. Nice restaurant for breakfast. There is the Priory pub located across the road. The rooms are up dated. Only one thing was the road noise if you’re at the rear hence the 4 review. Other than that. Really nice.

Have stayed here over the last 3 years on and off for working in Northampton and never had any problems the staff are brilliant especially Emma and josh and the food is good especially the pizzas

Travelodge Wellingborough was great value for money; nice and clean; canny staff; good food and drink, as well as close to amenities. Would consider Travelodge again.

Great hotel for a family meet up. I had some family come from London and we chose to stay here. Staff were fantastic, room clean and free parking Breakfast was great - plenty to choose from and could eat as much as we liked Thank you for a great stay

Arrived to find out it was being used as a hostel with not warning. There were dogs barking on our floor, doors banging constantly and shouting. So we checked back out after 30 mins. Travelodge customer services team don’t care and so far have only offered me £50 of the £160 I had paid for the stay despite only staying half an hour. I would never book a travelodge ever again as they refuse to pre-warn customer that the hotel is a hostel.
