Situé en pleine nature à 4km d'Appenzell, l'hôtel est un vrai "havre de paix". Le patron qui parle français est souriant, prévenant tout comme l'ensemble du. personnel. Notre chambre était grande. La literie très correcte. Sur le palier donnant aux chambres, revues, thé, bonbons, fruits... sont mis gratuitement à disposition. Le restaurant est de qualité et à des prix très corrects. Côté petit déjeuner, le buffet est bien garni. Vraiment une bonne adresse, pour une nuit (comme nous) ou un plus long séjour car les possibilités de randonnée sont multiples.

Ideal gelegen für viele Wanderungen. Wir kamen unverhofft ins Hotel Kaubad und wurden so positiv überrascht. Ein wunderschöner Gasthof mit tollem Restaurant, Hallenbad. Mit viel Charme bis ins letzte Detail. Die Besitzerfamilie und Mitarbeiter sehr professionell und so herzlich und freundlich. Wir haben auch im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen. Es hat einem tollen Garten mit vielen Plätzchen zum verweilen. Für Gross und Klein. Fantastische Küche, sehr grosse Portionen auf bestem Niveau! Frühstück super Auswahl und auch mit viel Liebe präsentiert. Die Zimmer sind ursprünglich und das passt perfekt. Trotz älterer Einrichtung ist alles blitzsauber und frisch. Einfach toll und ich komme bestimmt ganz bald wieder.

Passé une nuit dans cet hôtel très agréable lors d'un roadtrip à vélo. Lieu très agréable, personnel au petits soins malgré mon Allemand approximatif, chambre récemment rénovée et excellent rapport qualité-prix. Bon restaurant de plus. Une excellente étape !
