Sterling Wayanad

We visited Sterling Wayanad in August 2024 during the Independence day long weekend. The property is within the Wayanad tiger reserve amidst the serene beauty of nature. After a long drive from Bangalore such an exhilarating welcome by the team at the property. Mr. Dileep with his unbeatable energy attending everyone personally and maintaining the property. Yet another advantage of the property is no network for mobile (a proper break from work) but they have high speed wifi access within the property. The resort features a unique butterfly garden that hosts a variety of vibrant species, a flower garden, a fish pond and a serene walking trail. The property is very accessible for senior citizens also as they have an electric buggy to transit within the property. Rooms are spacious and clean providing a view of lush greenery. The property has a multi-cuisine restaurant focusing on Malabar cuisine prepared from a blend of local flavours curated excellently by executive chef Mr. Sanjo Jose. He personally attends everyone and has a conversation during every meal. Sterling Wayanad is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort and natural beauty. Mr. Dileep, Mr. Sanjo Jose and their team is fantastic starting from arrival to departure personally attending everyone with exceptional hospitality. If you are looking for a serene escape closer to nature this resort fulfills in all fronts.

Superb location and amazing hospitality . This location of this property is just beautiful. Loved the calmness and the serenity of the place . The hospitality of the staff is worth mentioning and yes the nature walk and bird watching experience with Dilip sir is something one shouldn't miss . His passion to make the guests experience as much as they can in those few hours is praiseworthy . The beauty of Wayand and the simplicity of its people stays with you .

Hospitality at the best at sterling Wayanad! Every staff member is there for us throughout. I would like to mention discovery center Dhilip for his excellent performance and Deepthi for spending time with my kids. Restaurant staffs are very attentive and the food was delicious. Special mention to Bijay, Jithin. I would like to thank the reception team as well for the guidance and the security team who helped me when I missed my gold chain. Thanks to Dawa, Shivam, Neetu, tripti, Arun and Anisha!! Those to want to relax and do nothing this is the best place I would say. Peaceful environment, feeding fish, watching butterflies, spending time in the herbal garden and the list goes on to refresh yourself! Overall we enjoyed and will come back!

We visited Sterling Wayanad on first week of November, for our 15th wedding anniversary, ***** with our boys. I would say it was a memorable one. My boys (1.5 yrs) had a wonderful time and made many core memories. This was the first time we stayed for more than one day away from home after they were born and they were literally happy. The facilities, ambience, climate and more over, the crew/staffs - they just made us feel as if we were at home. Resort manager - Sreenath, explained about the property prior to the booking. He was very helpful in the booking process and he made sure all the facilities were of top notch. Before arriving the resort, Mr. Jithin from restaurant made sure to prepare lunch as per our choice and the food was ready by the time we reached. Check-in process was ultra smooth. The cottage that we booked was amazing and had great amount of space that our kids could run and play. I booked for AP meal plan with all meals included. Restaurant menu spreads were amazing and really to our likings. Chefs and crews made food as per to our likings and they were eager to serve us. Kids have great time with the staffs in the restaurant- especially Nansy, Bidhan, Bijay & Ankit. Kids loved them. There were many recreational activities arranged - pottery, games, karaoke, games arena. But we sticked to toddlers game area, as our sons were not coming out of the toddler area. Well equipped with soft toys and soft mats. They just loved it. Resort arranged a great anniversary cake, even to my last minute request. The cake was delicious and we both finished that 1/2 kg cake in no time. Also the crew arranged a flower bouquet for the special occasion. I had booked a full body spa for my wife. And she commented that it was remarkable and rejuvenating. Unfortunately she does not remember the names of spa staffs, but a big shout out to them. One thing that I need to highlight is whomever we met in the premise's, people, cleaning crews, buggy drivers, restaurant staffs, admin staffs - they all were so welcoming and always with smile. At last a big shout out to the Reception crew members - Greeshma, Dawa, Chinmay, other staffs, cleaning crews and the buggy drivers. You made our vacation a really memorable one, indeed.

Beautiful restort the atmosphere was amazing and the staff members were very friendly especially Anisha mam guided us very nicely and kindly and the food was neat and tasty at night the firecamp and dancing experience was very good overall a good experience thank you….

The resort is really well maintained and all the staff are very helpful, from checkin to checkout they take care of everything. There is a evening fun activity also that they organise and the organizer Dilip is very creative and fun person with full of energy. I strongly recommend this resort for a relaxing and memorable holiday experience. PS: The connecting road to the resort can be better, but that's a govt responsibility.
