Mount Xanadu Resorts

This is our 6th visit to Wayanad and 1st visit to Mount Xanadu. Booking was for 2 nights. We stayed in room 401, which is a round tent with outdoor jacuzzi and a balcony with a view of the valley. The room/tent was spacious and well maintained. The washroom is a bit cramped and hardly any space to keep dental essentials, which is understandable coz its a tent. Our booking was for 3 people, but the dental kit and other basics were provided only for one person...We did not request for more, coz we had carried our own. We had taken the breakfast and dinner plan. The food was delicious. Dinner plan is recommended coz there are no restaurants close by. The resort in a few kms from the town. There were sufficient changes in the food menu on the second day. The restaurant manager (Forgot his name) was very courteous and helpful. The other restaurant staff was also very helpful. All in all a good experience though a tad bit expensive compared to the other resorts we have visited, considering the resort facilities, location etc. One thing that made me give 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is the bad experience with the lady at the reception (The one with the short hair). Firstly she was rude at the time of check-in, unwilling to answer questions readily and it felt like she was doing us a favor by checking us in. On check in we were told that we would be provided some complimentary snacks in a few minutes. (They had forgotten to keep the snacks in the room at the time of check-in) A couple of hours later my son called the reception and asked about the snacks... The lady (The same rude one mentioned above) disconnected the call without even acknowledging the request. The next day i called for an extra towel and was again spoken to rudely with a grunt for an acknowledgement. Same happened again to my son when he called the second day for some information about an activity. Setting aside the bad experience of interactions with this particular person....the resort is good, staff is helpful.

Worst resort. Rude staff. The rooms was fine. The location is nice. 0 management. Staff is not cooperative at all. Worst food. Very slow service. Trainees are managing most of the work Don’t waste your time and money visiting this property.

What a lovely place to spend a week in. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Our room was large with great views across to the mountains. Plentiful food. Lovely pool. Very relaxing. They even made me a surprise cake for my birthday. Phil & Catherine Ireland

Dear Team Xanadu, You made our hospital staff and doctors’ weekend truly unforgettable and refreshing. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled with utmost professionalism. The food was exceptional in its spread, taste, and freshness. The outdoor activities were adventurous and well-planned, with the short trekking being a particular favorite. The dinner, made special with live music and a cozy campfire, was a delightful highlight. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and staying in the Mountain Glamps was a unique and serene experience we thoroughly enjoyed. Beautiful place with mesmerizing views and excellent service. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to everyone. The place is kid friendly with a lot of activities. The swiming pool and a little trekking route in the property make it an excellent place to be active and enjoy peace at the same time.

Its absolutely Serene and Stunning. The place and the view from Mount Xanadu resort is a picturesque beauty. Visually Charming and attractive. We had a great time there as a family. The food and the hospitality, The timeliness of the events, soothing live music and the safety of the environment is great. Wonderful experience and planning to visit Mount Xanadu all over again dot.
