Excellent breakfast, Gemma cooked the bacon and eggs to perfection!! Room was clean, shower was great, beds were a little small for two adults.

2 night stay, beds are a little small, but overall excellent stay. Breakfast is great, and Gemma’s bacon is extraordinary.

We landed at the Inn and I went for a shower. As soon as the water hit the tub it turned it into a skating rink. I fell hitting the toiler and moving it. We contacted the front desk and they gave us a floor mat. The next morning another guest fell similarly and hurt his shoulder. No accident reports were made to our knowledge. (which is law) We have never been contacted by the Inn as to our well being. BEWARE!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. We had an unexpected charge on our credit card after we left the hotel, so we stopped to investigate on our way home from our trip. The woman, who was VERY reticent to give her name, made us wait for service while she played around in the breakfast room. She finally said that her name was "Love" after being asked at least a dozen times. Sure. She said that the charge was for damages to the room. She also intimated that we were lying, when we told her that we had not damaged anything. In fact we had told Daisy, the front desk clerk we had at time of check in, that there was a hole in the drywall in our bathroom. She kept repeating that it was Best Western Policy to charge for ANY damages. Fair enough, if we had caused damage, then we would be willing to pay for it. We also would have told the front desk as we checked out. But since we had not, we did not. She (Love) finally called Daisy to find out what the damage fee was for ... after at least 15 minutes "discussion". Daisy forwarded a photo of a hand towel that appeared to be dirty. They said it was stained and that the stain would mean that it had to be thrown away. Firstly, we did not stain any towels. Secondly, how were we to know where the towel was from, and what it looked like after it was laundered - which it had not been, apparently. Thirdly, the quality of the towels in the rooms would have embarrassed a dollar store, so charging anyone $15.00 for any of them is outrageous. "Love" called another woman over, who said she was not anything other than a housekeeper, so would not be able to do anything. Not certain what the point was, if that was true, which I doubt. We were unable to get any satisfaction from either of them, and their attitude was that they couldn't care less if we were unhappy, or if we complained. The hotel was apparently "recently renovated". If that is really the case, the workmanship was incredibly shoddy. The floor was "bubbling" in places snd missing pieces of tile. The refrigerator was loud. The drywall in the bathroom appeared to be substandard. The breakfast provided was meager and limited.
