Il mio soggiorno in questo hotel mi è stato davvero piacevole. Il posto era pulito, e la camera da letto, lavanderia e le foglie erano senza spot. Il personale del desk front era professionale e cortese. Raccomando davvero questo hotel *********

L'hotel è in una posizione decente, molte opzioni alimentari intorno. La stanza era standard, pulita, il letto era buono.. aveva una microonde e frigorifero. Il colazione era buono per qualcosa di veloce da mangiare, i bambini amavano le waffle di cioccolato. L’unica domanda che avevo era con la signora anziana al divano, e ho cercato di controllare un’ora prima, perché mia moglie non si sentiva bene, e lei ha indicato che non erano disponibili camere, e lei era nel suo ufficio e dietro una barriera di vetro. Anche quando le ho detto che avevo un disturbo auditivo, non è venuta a vedermi al vetro. La stessa donna era al checkout, avevamo chiesto un checkout alle 12:00, mentre eravamo in un torneo di hockey e il nostro gioco non era fino alle 4:00. Lei disse bene, ma le ragazze continuavano a baciarci sulla nostra porta e ci chiesero di andarsene, quando abbiamo chiamato il desk, lei ha cambiato idea e ha detto che dovremmo uscire alle 11. Ho controllato la prenotazione per la notte successiva e l'hotel era vuoto. Non ci dica una cosa e faccia un'altra, davvero? Ho appena trovato che ha messo un gusto amargo nella bocca dal momento che siamo arrivati fino al momento che abbiamo lasciato.

Nonostante un sorriso notevolissimo, la sera ero li', una vista eccellente di questo dalla finestra della mia stanza, alcune veramente lussuose mutandine e biancheria sul letto, e un'esperienza di televisore premium, Il mio piacere del soggiorno è stato ostacolato dalla posizione meno ottima. Non ho capito quanto fosse lontano nelle periferie, e non ho nemmeno potuto arrivare al LCBO a causa di quanto pedoni-inamici fosse la zona! Anche se il mio soggiorno era prepagato ..., quando li ho chiamati, erano amichevoli e utili e hanno corretto questo errore.

We recently stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Brantford for five days during a recent visit to the Ontario area. The hotel is a new-ish complex off the highways with convenient access and a fast food complex (Tims, Wendys, KFC, Taco Bell, Indian) within walking distance. The design of the property is to incorporate a few more kitchen-style amenities into a larger room ideal for longer stays (think basement suite but in a hotel). The hotel has a pool with excellent access times (no hot tub), and it also has a fitness center accessible 24/7 along with several meeting rooms for events. Front desk staff (all of them) during check in, extending stay and overall assistance were great. For some reason, one of our key cards deactivated a few times over the course of our stay, which was quickly resolved in both cases. The room was spacious and equipped with a medium sized fridge, freezer, microwave, dishes and cutlery for use. You are able to rent for free a hot plate and cookware if needed (we did not opt to). The furnishings were very nice and modern, the accommodations were clean (sheets, etc.) overall. The only minor faults I noticed were utensils not completely clean - some had water stains and slight residue from prior use. We were very comfortable nevertheless and the blinds were great at keeping the sunlight out. Breakfast was a good offering, however I do have a bit of an issue that it was offered as a “hot breakfast”, The general norm I've come to understand is that a hot breakfast will include hot proteins like eggs, bacon… the only things that were hot were the oatmeal, DIY waffles, toast and breakfast sandwiches after heating them up in the microwave. They also did not rotate or offer variety over the course of the stay (five nights) which became a bit tiresome. Moreover, you have to be on time for breakfast, as they will pull the curtains on you (quite literally) at 9:30. A suggestion to elevate this to a stellar offering would be to consider incorporating a few hot trays (eggs, bacon, sausage) and rotate them with the breakfast sandwiches. Also, some folks felt rushed to grab items at 9:30, so perhaps an extension to 10am may be helpful for late risers. Can't give half circles - a one night stay would've been a 5, but it trended down a bit given the longer stay. Overall, despite the downfalls (which were minor in the grand scheme of things), provided you mix up your breakfast and eat out every now and then for longer stays, the Home2 Suites Brantford is a very good showing indicative of its current rating on TripAdvisor. The value is really good for what you receive, that is if you are willing to be a further distance away from the GTA and Niagara Falls area. We hard a large group and this was the perfect hotel. Room are well appointed with Kitchen items (dishwasher with a pod, dish soap, containers, pots, pans, strainer, cutting board etc. Bathrooms have pumps for S&C, hand soap, cream and body wash. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great lots to choose from (Eggs, hashbrowns, waffles, bagels, bread, yogurt, bananas, apples, cereal, oatmeal... you will find something you like. They even have a great little store. I've never seen a hotel have so much selection like this. Was perfect when you we were running late for a game and you need Gatorade and some snacks. Pool was clean and nice, would like a hot tub but that's just me being picky. Even with a packed hotel.. it didn't feel like it. I've stayed at over 5 hotels in this area and hands down this is the best. It has everything and more. Paying a small bit extra was so very worth it.

I needed to be in Brantford for a couple of nights and opted to stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brantford because I always opt for IHG Hotels when I can. Plus, Brantford has very few options for lodging. I arrived later in the evening and check-in was a breeze. I booked a double queen room. Room 612 is located by the elevator, so if noise is an issue for you, I’d request a different room. As I am partially hearing impaired, the noise from the vent directly across the hall was more like a white noise for me. I imagine it might be louder for others. Key cards worked without issue. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom has a nice mirror with lighting which was great for makeup application. Aside from the bar of soap that dried out your hands like most hotels, the products available in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) was good quality. I didn’t even have to use my own because I liked the brand and scent. The bathroom had a tub/shower combo. Tub isn’t that big, so if you like baths, you may not like it so much. Shower was great. I like taking showers hotter than the fires if Hades, so I was happy with the water pressure and consistent temperature. The beds were super comfortable. Pillows were perfectly firm. Beddings were soft and adequate. Mattress was perfectly firm as well. I didn’t try out the sofa, but it looked clean and I’m sure it is comfortable to sit on. The room also had a safe that I was unable to open because it was left closed and locked. The room has a standard mini fridge, microwave and Keurig. Reaching Front Desk for extra tissues and coffee cups was a little of a challenge. This was probably due to being short staffed. If you need anything, you’re better off just going downstairs and asking in person instead of calling. I do with Front Desk communicated late checkouts better with Housekeeping because I had a late checkout and Housekeeping came to knock on my door 4 different times. They were super nice and explained that they don’t get notified about late checkouts. No fault of theirs. These people do a great job and hard work to ensure you have a comfortable stay, so don’t rip their heads off when they knock to check if you’re still there if you’re checking out late. It may be annoying, but they’re just doing their jobs. Overall, this was a great stay and staff were wonderful. I hope to never have to stay in Brantford again, but if I do, I’ll definitely check in here.

Molto deluso. Quando la TV non aveva una ricezione alle 11:30, ho chiamato il desk 3 volte dopo e nessuno ha risposto. Usano Covid come scusa per non avere colazione seduto, e non avere un tubo caldo. Il colazione era un sforzo molto povero. In pratica, solo iogurti, uova di crosta, patate e una piccola selezione di frutta, senza carne, senza formaggio, senza pane, senza cereali. (e utensili di plastica nero monouso.) In camera ci erano tinture sul tappeto e senza tessuti. L’allarme nella stanza prossima senza occupazione è andato alle 4:30 e ho dovuto chiamare due volte per farlo smettere, poi è andato di nuovo 30 minuti dopo alle 5:00. Non c’era alcuna scusa per la nostra partenza e nessuna offerta di rimborso. Un personale ragionevolmente amichevole, ma non mi fermerò più qui.

***** WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ***** I have now witnessed the most incompetent guest service at a hotel ever. My background is Hotels. I worked at Claridges one of the most prestigious five star hotels in London England with Gordon Ramsey as our executive chef. I also worked as the head concierge at The Rimrock Resort Hotel in Banff as some examples. We were trained properly to go above and beyond a guests expectations. Upon arrival we waited over two and a half hours to get checked in as we were the only ones there at the time. Unfortunately due to the horrible management of this property they left a new team member on the front desk that had only been working there for a week. (complete failure on their part) He was absolutely lost and even said while he was dealing with me that he was going to have a heart attack or commit suicide after his shift. He was so flustered trying to get any kind of help from management on the phone. Finally the night auditor showed up and was able to check-in the backlog of guests sitting around the lobby. We had a confirmed booking for 2 Queens beds and upon our arrival into our room it was a king and sofa bed. I went back down to the lobby and they said that they would deal with it in the morning as the manager would get back to me about the room and our experience the night before. (I'd also just had back surgery 5 weeks prior) Our rate for the two Queens was 169 per night. After a Week (not the next day as promised) I finally received a call from the hotel operations manager Nalini Cackryanathen about my experience. She explained I would also not qualify for the 169 as we had a king bed and would have to pay 229 instead? ***? WE BOOKED AND HAD CONFIRMED TWO QUEEN BEDS with a confirmation number. In the end they offered a free night voucher to the hotel - NO CHANCE WE WILL GO BACK EVEN FOR FREE. I asked for the owners email so I could explain what is going on in his hotel and they refused saying he's not hands on and isn't really interested in the daily operations of his property? 🤯 I guess it comes from the top down!

My family had a very pleasant stay at this place last night. Upon receiving check in confirmation by text, we were surprised by a free upgrade from a standard room to a standard + den room. It’s perfect for our family of 3. We love the unit and its decor, it was spacious and clean. Best part: it’s equipped with everything from TV, fridge to small oven, dishwasher, even has washer and dryer! Much more convenient for family stay in comparison to other traditional hotel! Paid for private parking which was underground, it’s perfect since we arrived on the night of a snowstorm and had to leave early 6:30am next day for a sport meet. Had a small issue upon arrival as we couldn’t get room to open with the key app. Property management Varun got it fixed remotely within minutes. We recommend this place and our family would definitely stay here again when visiting Waterloo!
