The roster ranges from challenging flow sessions to easy-enough-for-newbies restorative classes.3- Visit the Saturday Petworth Community Market:One of the liveliest farmers’ markets in the city takes place on the paved, area between 9th St NW and Upshur, every Saturday morning from May through November from 9am-1pm. Expect baked goods, cheese, produce and snacks like sandwiches or pork buns. Live music ups the appeal.4- Grab a cold one at neighborhood barsChoose from Capitol Ciderhouse, Hook Hall, The Midlands, ANXO, and Takoda Restaurant & Beer Garden to name a few. Our classic Wardman-style DC Rowhome is located in the vibrant Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC and serves as the perfect jumping point for exploring the city. We are a quick 9 minute walk to the metro (93 walk score) and have tons of bus, bike, street parking, and uber/lyft options readily available.NOTE: Absolutely NO parties or events are permitted in this space.Over the last several years, we have lovingly restored this 100+ year old home. With many original features still in tact (transom windows, skylights, custom doorways and window frames, original door handles, etc.) we hope you enjoy its timelessness and character as much as we do, and give it as much care as we have!Come and go easily using our private entrances along with a fully automated check-in process.THE SPACE:In the basement you will find two bedrooms; one is furnished with a queen bed and the other with twin bunks. There is a living room area equipped with TV and futon, a newly renovated bathroom with full sized washer/dryer set, a separate workspace with desk and chair, and kitchenette (mini fridge, coffee maker, sink, and microwave) for small meal prep/coffee making!On the main level of the home you will find a spacious and welcoming living room, dining area, sunroom, half bath, and full kitchen - perfect for relaxing with loved ones after a long day of sightseeing! The kitchen is equipped with a full sized fridge/freezer, gas stove, gas oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. The sunroom has a futon and air mattress for extra sleeping space!Upstairs you will find 3 full bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed and walk-in closet, as well as an en suite full bathroom equipped with a shower, double sinks, and soaking tub (original to the home!). The second and third bedrooms have queen sized beds and share a jack-and-jill bathroom. One of the rooms has a small office off of it for those that need to get some work done, as well. The other, a cozy chair for reading that expands for additional sleeping space if needed.Fresh towels and bed linens will always be provided, as will basic soaps, shampoo, and conditioner.OUTSIDE:Enjoy the front porch furnished with rocking chairs! Off the back of the house, you will find a nice deck that leads down to a fully enclosed, private backyard. There is an additional patio space on the yard level and a secluded and private 4-6 person HOT TUB available for use under the deck!PARKING:While we do not have private parking on site, street parking is free and readily available.HOUSE RULES:1. Absolutely NO parties or events are permitted in this space. Please be respectful of our neighbors; no loud noises between 10pm and 8am.2. To reiterate, Quiet Hours are from 10pm to 8am every day of the week.3. No additional guests (anyone not listed on the reservation and included in the total guest count) unless otherwise communicated and agreed on. If this rule is violated and more guests are present on the property without the host’s knowledge and permission, a fee of $25 per person per day will be assessed. This rule is meant to prevent any dishonest behavior by all parties, to prevent any extra wear and tear on the property, and most importantly, to keep everyone safe.4. No smoking on premises of any kind (vaping included). While DC has legalized marijuana, we are NOT a 420 friendly space and do not permit its use in our home or property, including smoking outside. Smoking in the home will result in a $500 fee.5. If staying with a pet, there will be a pet fee ($75). Please give advance notice with description of pet. No cats allowed!6. This modern street level, 2 bathroom walk up apartment was fully renovated in 2015 leaving original architectural details of this Victorian era row home like hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. The bedrooms each have a queen bed and en suite bathrooms making this an ideal situation for privacy. Walk out the door and start your journey down the hip Logan's Circle restaurant row with endless choices in decadent food and eclectic shopping. Don't forget to stop at Ms. Pixies! We have two parking spots by reservation only so please check with us in advance. The spots are $270/month or $35/day. If our spots are taken we can assist you with finding a reserved a parking spot We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building. What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest. * Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ... * Feminine Products. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations. House Rules & Guest Responsibilities We kindly ask that you review and confirm acceptance of the following House Rules on behalf of yourself and all guests in your party. Violation of these rules could result in a termination of your reservation without refund. No Smoking To keep things fresh and comfortable for all guests, smoking (including cigarettes, marijuana, and vaping) is not allowed inside the home or within 50 feet of the building—including outdoor spaces. If smoke is reported or detected, we may need to end your stay, apply a $500 cleaning fee, and report the issue to the booking platform. We hope you understand—it’s all about keeping the space pleasant for everyone. Parties or Events Quiet Enjoyment We love a good time—but we also love our peace and quiet! Parties and events aren’t allowed, and all of our homes have decibel readers that help us monitor for loud noise (don’t worry—they don’t record anything). If we receive a report about excessive noise or gatherings, a team member may check in, and your reservation could be canceled without refund. Thanks for helping us keep things serene for our neighbors and other guests! Security Notice All Sojourn properties are equipped with exterior security cameras, including coverage of entryways and common areas that are recording at all times. These are used for guest safety, property protection, and in some cases to ensure compliance with local city regulations. There are no interior cameras inside any of our homes. Plumbing Etiquette — What Not to Flush or Dispose Please only flush toilet paper—no wipes, feminine products, or anything else. And avoid putting grease or non-food items down the drain or garbage disposal. Plumbing repairs can be expensive, and we’d hate to have to pass that cost along to you! Linens & Care At Sojourn, we provide luxury linens of the highest quality for your comfort. We kindly ask that you help us care for them by following these guidelines. Do not use towels or bedding for cleaning, makeup removal, hair dye or any other activities that could permanently stain the linens. If linens are found to be permanently stained or damaged, we will request reimbursement for the cost of replacement. No Fireworks For your safety and to comply with local regulations, fireworks—including sparklers—are strictly prohibited at all Sojourn properties.. Pet Etiquette We’re delighted to welcome your furry companions at this pet-friendly property. To keep our homes clean and comfortable for all guests, please observe the following: Always clean up after your pet—indoors and outdoors. Dispose of waste in appropriate bins and avoid leaving messes in common or shared areas. Excessive pet hair, stains, or odors may result in additional cleaning charges. If our team arrives to find that pet waste has not been properly cleaned up or additional cleaning is required due to your pet, a $75 cleaning fee may be assessed.
