I recently stayed at this hotel for my wedding. While the stay itself was not terrible, there were certain aspects that left much to be desired. Accommodation: The pillows were uncomfortable and did not provide a good night's sleep. Service: Breakfast Experience: I went down for breakfast on Friday around 9:40 AM. The hot breakfast items were nearly empty. Despite asking the staff to refill them, they never did, and everything was cleared promptly at 10:00 AM. I had requested eggs well before breakfast ended, but they were never served. The server at the time, a young African lady, seemed unresponsive to our requests. Front Desk Service: There was an issue with the night receptionist, an Asian male, who lacked basic customer service skills. For instance: A day receptionist had assured me that the hotel could arrange towel swans and petals for my wedding, even confirming that she would forward the request to the next shift. However, the night receptionist dismissed my request, claiming the hotel did not provide such a service and even suggested I go out and buy flowers myself. Fortunately, when the earlier receptionist, Abby (If i am not wrong), returned, she confirmed that this service is indeed provided and took care of the arrangement. Abby’s professionalism and helpful attitude stood out and truly enhanced our experience. Conclusion: The stay had its ups and downs. While there were some glaring service issues, Abby’s excellent service deserves commendation. Training in customer service for some staff members, especially those at the front desk, could significantly improve guest experiences.

We stayed with a one year old baby for 2 nights. The room was so clean and bright we all enjoyed it. The staff was just amazing, girls on the Front desk and a girl called Ana on breakfast were just so nice and made us feel so welcome. Our friends were coming in an out for drinks and the staff treated everyone so well. We will definitely be back!

Rooms are lovely. We had a accessible room. Excellent fittings and facilities. Really comfortable bed. Staff were mostly pleasant and friendly if somewhat disorganised. We arrived in the afternoon and a young polish girl with a south asian assistant were very helpful at checkin. The evening staff were slow and spent most of their time chatting in a group . Do not eat here. The menu is extremely limited. I had the burger which came burnt to a crisp. So hard it was hard to bite into. The fries came in a basket and were cold and half were still raw. Breakfast had a good selection but again was cold.

Stayed at this hotel on 28th Nov really clean & bright room very modern & clean so after i left hotel a couple of days later i checked my credit card statement & the hotel had taken an additional £30 So I spoke to the hotel to find out i had been charged for a missing cushion from my room without a phone call to ask so i then raised this with the hotel & they confirmed I have been charged for a missing cushion which i didn't take they said take it up with your booking agent i would advise taking photos of your room if you use this as you may get charged i said did you check your CCTV as this would of not fitted in my case i will never stay at any Hilton branded hotels again as i do use them on a monthly basses

We booked a night out while visiting the Christmas markets. The hotel looked nice both outside and inside. The reception staff were very polite when we checked in. However, when we entered our bedroom, it reeked of cigarette smoke. My partner and I are non-smokers, so this was very off-putting. At first, I even thought someone might still be inside the room. We called reception straight away, and they asked us to come down. The receptionist gave us another room and mentioned that the manager would speak to us, but we never saw the manager.

This hotel it's staff and its facilities are above and beyond any i have had the privilege of experiencing firstly i felt this a brand new hotel was excellent and extremely helpful were the staff especially one in particular Paris she has been so lovley attentive and on the ball customer service wise her skills were above and beyond being the head of operations and customer services myself in the past i noticed how great she was and honestly i thought she was the manager till my second tomw staying there that is lol she is confident capable and knows her job to a tea always smiling and from a managerial perspective her work and how she conducted herself and the other ladies were more than efficient in fact I'd go a far as to say all the time staff were amazingly helpful ans lovely hence the title ABOVE AND BEYOND 5 STARS ALL THE WAY

I've been very ill and only just started getting out after Cancer treatment, staff said it was £10 per hour to check in early, as an Honors member this is unacceptable, I found myself having to go out and walk around which wasn't helpful, on returning they did agree but only as there was around 25 mins left, although I had already paid they said my card had been declined at the time of booking, I was never notified of this and as I've since changed banks have no proof, there was never anything from Barclays at the time saying payment declined so I will be following this up, they also refused cash saying it's a card only hotel, I had just withdrawn all the cash I had with th card I had with me, I was in tears by this point as what was I supposed to do? A very kind lady stepped in and paid on her card and then I gave weher the cash, I feel I've been charged twice for the room which I will follow up, also when I did eventually get in the room so could rest and take my medication I found a lot of long hairs on the tray that had cups and kettle on absolutely disgusting but I really can't be bothered anymore so I will stay tonight and then I will never be using Hilton again

I travelled 4 hours to get to this hotel. Seeing that it’s a brand new one I thought I’d be able to receive a service that a Hilton would provide. Unfortunately it seems the management of this hotel are stuck up and are looking for extra money however they can in whatever way they can. The manager as soon as I arrived told me that a late checkout would be chargeable until 2pm - whereas the general staff seem accommodating and looked ashamed about this, the staff member Vincent actually came up to my room & said ‘I will speak to my manager, we should be able to waive the charge until 2pm because you came from far and have young children’. That’s what I call a service , especially from a hotel that should be trying to accommodate?? However what happened to me right now is honestly appalling. I was willing to choose this hotel as part of my regular travels to Birmingham - it is a new hotel and so I thought to myself giving it another try would be good. But how wrong I was, I’ve just found out. I have JUST travelled 4 hours again to get to this hotel. And before booking, and after, I have spoken to one of the colleagues over the phone before I made the tedious journey all the way up here. I asked if an early check in can be accommodated, I asked this MULTIPLE times and she reassured me that it can be done, without hassle and they had free rooms at night so they’ll be happy to assist me this time. I even told her that’s really helpful and I’d be leaving them a good review for this. What ended up happening is the worst situation I can ask for. I have just travelled for fricking 4 hours to nuneaton, with TWO young children below 4 years old, we’re absolutely shattered & the kids need to rest. Upon entering the so called manager at the front desk immediately announced that I would need to pay £10 an hour to check in early. That would be £60 extra charge. I explained my shock and frustration at this, because I was NOT expecting that. The colleague called lovelina or whatever her name is, similar to that - multiple times reassured me that an early check in free of charge would be possible. I even explained to this manager on site right now that I have travelled with these two kids all the way here after confirming multiple Times by phonecall that it would be okay - and that I didn’t come prepared with enough money in my account , they don’t even take cash, which is what I use normally. So now I’m stranded with two kids outside in the cold, they’re absolutely knackered and even upon seeing this situation the manager refused to budge on her position about this. I even tried to plead with her to understand that one of her colleagues has made a mistake so as a good will could she even reduce the charge to £40-50, she said no because it would need to be paid until 3pm. Early check in could be 2pm for free, so I said okay that means I can pay £50 as it’s 9am right now? She said no, if you come now as me or my colleague will have to go up and clean
