Hotel in zona Brownlee's pool, Warrington

A che ora va bene: la stanza è pulita, il letto è molto comodo, la colazione da sola è molto buona, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria è conveniente Molti non sono buoni: 1.Molto stupendo!Ogni notte, la gente che può sentire in silenzio le persone sotto le tavole e fare il tavolo fino alle dodici di sera!!Vicino alla strada, anche l'auto è molto stupendo. Perché nessun ospite dell'hotel non può darci una stanza più alta e più tranquilla. La notte ha portato un cluco o è stato svegliato 2.I dipendenti non l'hanno visto, non ci sono dipendenti ogni volta che passano la ricetta.Non ci hanno detto dove era la colazione quando sono stati. 3. La prima notte è stata prenota direttamente con l'hotel, la seconda notte Trip.com. Il piccolo fratello ha detto che la camera era diversa per due notti, ma il giorno dopo non aveva altri ospiti che potevano rimanere nella prima notte. Il giorno dopo, quando abbiamo controllato, hanno detto che la stanza di oggi dovrebbe continuare. Abbiamo aspettato dodici minuti e abbiamo detto che dovremmo pagare 20 sterline per continuare la stanza precedente. 4.L'hotel non ha un guaio, il prezzo è l'hotel 45 stelle, il rapporto prezzo è relativamente basso In generale, l'hotel si preoccupa di gestire il loro ristorante e bar, e di rinunciare alla politica della camera degli ospiti.

We looked for a cheap alternative to staying in Manchester City Centre for a Saturday night. Was very impressed, the hotel is great value and the staff are really great. Couldn't knock the room. Would come back

After an exceptional stay at the Wigan Holiday Inn Express on September 20th, 2024, I didn’t expect such a stark contrast in service at another location within the same hotel group the very next day (September 21st, 2024). This time, we experienced a completely different attitude at the front desk—rudeness and dismissiveness. Despite multiple requests for assistance, such as having my room closer to my friend’s, an hour late check-out (which my friend was granted), and fixing the issue with my room’s air conditioning (my friend’s room was fine), we were met with vague, unhelpful explanations that treating a fool. It felt like dealing with political officials dodging direct answers. For the first time ever, I left a hotel feeling genuinely angry. They might be better suited for a career in politics.

I'm currently staying at the hotel.i did stay here a number of years ago, and it was a good hotel then.i checked in and went to my room,it was quite dirty throughout. So i went to reception and asked to change to a cleaner room.I then looked at that,it was still dirty.back to reception, again try another room.it had a smell like an open sewer.so back again, at this point I asked to see the manager. What I need to point out is the reception staff and manager were very polite and friendly. I was told its an old building and during rain sometimes the drains back up and cause a smell.i explained the dirtiness of the rooms,stains on carpets and beds,peeling painted walls,and grime along surfaces, you could play noughts and crosses on the surfaces due to the amount of dust and grime.the remote controls were filthy.put you off picking one up.eventually I got a clean room.the manager took me to check it out herself. She was a nice lady who was doing what she could.after that I thought I'd watch a bit of TV.but all the channels had been programmed in the wrong way,just made it vert awkward to find a show.this morning at breakfast I went to restaurant and wanted a cup of coffee.went to machine and no cups,you have to ask to have one brought out.ok then.i ordered some pancakes of menu after 25 minutes 2 dried pancakes were brought out.ok ill have a glass of orange juice,lukewarm .the buffet,o asked for a gork as non at table ,a stained set of cutlery were provided to me.breakfast it's self was fine,no issues there.but overall breakfast experience a let down.at nearly £17 a head it should be better.though mine was part of the room rate.as you read through this review some parts may seem trivial ,possibly so.but it's the fact that when you add up all these small things it gives a overall bad experience. I have stayed a various holiday inns,and this isn't really up there.i was offered 2000 ihg reward points as a gesture from the manager. To put that into context,it costs around 20 000 points for a 1 night stay at a holiday inn. So really you can't do anything with 2000 points.a percentage of the bill would have been more appropriated.i think this hotel needs a major overall, and some of the staff retraining. The positives are the reception staff and manager.

Recentemente ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso il Holiday Inn Express Wigan e sono stato profondamente impressionato dalla mia esperienza. La camera era pulita, confortevole e ben attrezzata con tutte le attrazioni di cui avevo bisogno per un piacevole soggiorno. L'hotel offre anche un colazione complimentare ogni mattina, che è stato un grande modo di iniziare il giorno. La scelta di cibo è stata impressionante, con una varietà di opzioni calde e fredde da scegliere. La posizione dell'hotel è anche eccellente, con facile accesso al centro della città e attrazioni vicine. Inoltre, il grande parcheggio in loco ha reso facile venire e andare come mi piace. In generale, consiglio vivamente il Holiday Inn Express Wigan a chiunque cerca un luogo confortevole e conveniente per soggiornare nella zona. Il personale, l'alloggio e la posizione superavano tutte le mie aspettative, e mi aspetto di restare qui in futuro.

La stanza è molto comoda, pulita, e la decorazione è anche molto buona. Il proprietario della casa è anche molto amichevole, gentile e parente.Molto piace qui, si consiglia ai suoi amici.

We stayed at the Hartford Hall for one night which was way more than enough. The hotel looks really nice from the online pictures and most reviews are pretty positive although I have to wonder if they stayed in the same place as we did. We arrived at the hotel around 4.30pm on a Friday afternoon and waited to checkin at a small booth in the main bar. No one was there but the barman was friendly and told us someone would be with us soon. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and gave us our room key for ”Clotton” room. We made our way through the bar towards an outbuilding which was where the rooms were located along a smelly corridor with filthy carpets. There were lots of dogs in the bar and some very small children (toddlers) just wondering around, it felt like a kennel come creche!! Our room cost £105 breakfast not included, and was quite spacious with a large bed and was nice and warm. But within minutes we could smell a musty damp aroma which was coming from the bathroom. All appeared clean and dry so we turned the bathroom lights on and the extraction fan started. This controlled the smell. We popped down to the bar for some light food as we were going into Northwich for dinner later. We ordered garlic bread with cheese, buttermilk chicken and fries. This small plate selection came to just under £19. The food arrived and the buttermilk batter was burnt, and we are still looking for the cheese that was supposed to be on the garlic bread. The food was really poor and the whole place seemed to be trying to be something that it's not. We came back to the room for a shower and this was when we realised why the room was musty. The shower try is too small and there was no glass screen at the end of the shower so water sprayed everywhere. We had to use all the hand towels to keep the floor dry. It was a real mess. We went out for the evening and came back to the hotel at bang on 11pm and were looking forward to a few drinks. We went to the bar only to be told ”we are closed”!!! So off to bed we went. Our room was right angles to the pub which was located on the very end of the building and parallel to a very busy road. The room had old and ineffective double glazing and so we had constant road noise all night. Neither of us slept and was one of the worst experiences we have had in a hotel. At 8.30am we checked out. We mentioned to the lady who was at the check in desk that we had had an awful night to which she replied ”yes the road is noisy”. We also mentioned that we couldn't get a drink last night and her reply was ”we are a pub with rooms, not a hotel”. We will never eat or stay here again and definitely would not recommend. It's awful.

Il soggiorno era sul mio viaggio all'aeroporto di Manchester. Il riscaldamento nella mia prima stanza non funzionava, ma mi hanno trasferito in un'altra stanza. Tutto era in ordine con la seconda stanza, finché non andai a fare la doccia, la testa non lavorava, come se avesse usato un tappo. Ma in generale, un posto per rimanere. Lo raccomandarei, nonostante le due questioni minori.
