We stopped here for one night on route to Scotland and so glad we chose Bertrams. We had a great room on the second floor which was on the whole very comfortable. We had dinner in the bistro and it was a gastronomic delight. Everything was presented beautifully and was of top quality. And most importantly tasted divine. Breakfast for equally high quality and once again presented perfectly. Well done to all the Bertram’s team. Everything was excellent and served up with a smile. My only small negative was that the room was very warm and stuffy which resulted in a slightly restless night. But to be honest it’s summer time and I can live with it for the one night. All the positives outweigh this slight negative. All served

Really comfortable room, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The Dyson fan was a welcome addition on a warm day and fresh milk and chilled water in the fridge was a lovely touch. The breakfast was amazing, huge portions and excellent quality. I think we'll definitely be back!

Really comfortable hotel . Friendly staff ,warm and cosy room very nicely furnished, and a really comfortable bed. Superb choice of breakfast and highly recommend the full English. Excellent location with easy access to beautiful scenery / coastline etc. Warkworth castle dominates the village and is well worth a visit ,aa are the cosy hostelries in the village. Would definitely stay here again.

Dog friendly cafe in the middle of Warkworth . Last minute stop off and boy we were so glad we did. A bustling little cafe with a gorgeous outdoor courtyard through the back where we sat today as the weather was good. We had a prawn cocktail sandwich, with a side of salad and we shared a portion of skinny fries. All fresh, clean tastes and very good portions. Followed by a Cappuccino and fruit scones. Delicious! Staff friendly, great place to visit. We walked out and said Wow!

I would only use one word to describe this establishment… Quality. From the minute you arrive till the minute you leave. Quality Reception Quality Room Quality Shower Quality Bed & Bedding Quality Breakfast. Quality Staff What else do you need? But keep it quiet, I don’t want it so busy I can’t get in on my return visit. 👊👊👊

Lovely cafe with great food. Accommodating of allergies including gluten & dairy free options. Good service and friendly staff. Recommend a visit for lunch or just a snack. Suitable for dogs. Great cakes!

Lovely room, (room 3) and very friendly staff. Couple of small issues which could have improved my stay, One being the lack of light at the dressing table for putting on make up and nowhere to put hand towel in bathroom Other than that really enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed a welcoming bowl of mushroom soup and bowl of steaming chips to warm us up on a cold wet day. All was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient. We sat outside in the courtyard under cover with blankets but felt very cosy.

A fabulous place to stay ,warm and comfortable room , amazing shower , with an excellent breakfast. what more could you ask for. we stayed here for a night in November, lots to do and see whether walking or driving. Breakfast staff were very helpful providing local information. Looking forward to a return visit.
