The owners and staff went above and beyond for everything. Rarely have I seen so many amenities at a B&B. We stayed the first week/weekend they reopened after a total remodel and everything was flawless. They served a different delicious farm to table breakfast each of 3 mornings. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Sherry, Ridge and Sara are amazing hosts! Lupe and Diego are warm and attentive. The newly renovated Inn and property are stunning and comfortable. Sherry’s attention to detail is fantastic, from hot coffee delivered to our door, truffles by the bedside, stand up paddle boards steps from our cottage and no issues with my gluten free needs, you must experience this venue! Our cottage had heated floors, the pool was heated and coziness was everywhere. The town is quaint and friendly, wonderful food and beverages and full of history, but truly, we didn’t feel the need to leave the property as it is perfection. Counting the days until our next booking here. We didn’t want to leave.

The recent renovations are first class. We have been a fan and frequent guest of the Inn for many years, and all of the upgrades -- the new furniture, the updated paint, the redecorated rooms, upgraded bathrooms -- are truly wonderful. And all of the things that made the Inn a wonderful stop -- the old house, the waterfront, the dock, the adirondack chairs, the delicious breakfast, the peace and quiet -- are all still there. The new owners (and some 'carry-over staff') are all so friendly and professional. Highly recommend the Inn at Tabbs Creek!

Fabulous, simply superb. We stayed in the Chesapeake Suite which is the annex next to the main Inn, just a few steps from the pool and house. Complete with a lounge and kitchenette, separate bedroom with 4poster bed and an absolutely stunning bathroom. Attention to detail is obviously the owners byword. The aspect of the property looks out onto the creek and is a lovely setting. Sherry & Ridge have a wonderful team, especially Sara who couldn’t do enough and was always ready to please. The Inn is in a secluded spot and you may miss the turning (we did!) The little lane is between the gas station and grocery store….. Would we go back again, YES indeed.

I couldn’t have asked for a more delightful stay! Craig and Lori are the perfect hosts, warmly welcoming me to this beautiful relaxing inn. The breakfast provided each morning is a true culinary treat, creatively prepared with thoughtful additions of locally sourced ingredients. My room was comfortable and complete with everything thing needed to ensure an effortless experience. All of this and the gorgeous surrounding waterfront, made this a most excellent experience.

Tabbs inn is wonderful! The water views were spectacular . We enjoyed the grill and fire pit overlooking the water. Such a relaxing time. The inn keepers Greg and Lori go over and beyond to make our stay excellent! My second time here and I will be back again!

We all wanted another day! We had a family and friends meet up at the inn the weekend of October 11, 2024 and reserved all but a couple of rooms for our group. It was perfect! Each room and suite was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. Everyone loved having their own space to retire to between activities, and we couldn’t have been more comfortable! My husband went kayaking as soon as we got out of the car, and others joined him on kayaks and paddle boards. Some chose to fish off the dock. We relaxed outside and bird watched and enjoyed the grounds. At night Lori and Greg started the firepit, and we had so much fun making s’mores and having drinks. Both mornings we were there, we had an unparalleled breakfast freshly prepared with our dietary restrictions taken into consideration. Lori and Greg were the perfect hosts, and offered us suggestions of things to do in the area. I would honestly have been perfectly content staying right on the property without activities, but we enjoyed the town as well. Our entire group is ready to return as soon as we can!

The new innkeepers are terrific and the property is getting a facelift. We have seen the plans and toured the renovations for the inn. Our room was in a freestanding bldg with a 2-person jacuzzi and lots of treats for snacks, etc. Breakfast was divine with many personal touches. We will return in the late spring for another stay when the work has been completed.

Part of the Inn is under repair, yet our reservation was honored, the accommodations were top notch, the staff super nice and our stay was fabulous despite the freezing temps. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. We plan to visit in warmer weather, plus MLK weekend again next year!
