Il parco è molto esteso e la struttura è così rilassante. Facile accedere alla mia chiave dopo le ore, piacevole personale di ricezione per affrontarla.

La stanza era pulita e ben conservata con le attrezzature e gli oggetti come piastre e occhiali, e la zona del giardino dietro la stanza era tranquilla e aveva una bella vista sul sole di sera, e il signor Ralph, che ci ha ricevuto, era caldo e amichevole.

We had a wonderful stay . Food excellent, staff were charming and great fun . Fiona looked after us in the dining room, a lovely lady with a great sense of humour. Our barman made three great cocktails just by giving him an idea of what we liked . Again we had great fun with him also Our room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view . Sadly ! I have to comment on our balcony which had not been swept or cleaned in weeks. Because it was a warm evening we decided to drink our complementary sparkling wine outdoors. I wiped and cleaned the table and chairs best I could along with the cobwebs. Maybe now summer is upon us attention could be made to that .

La nostra villa da 1 camera era pulita e spaziosa, con vista sulla grande terrazza che conteneva diversi uccelli acquatici e almeno 5 specie di frog che potevamo sentire chiamare in notte. La prima volta che arrivammo, c'era una bottiglia di vino e cioccolato, e il ristorante era di alta qualità. Tutti i membri del personale, alla reception e al ristorante erano efficienti e amichevoli. Vorrei rimanere di nuovo per la vista sul pavimento con la vigna nel fondo, la grande villa pulita, il letto comodo, la doccia grande e il suono delle grotte in serata. L'unica cosa che vorrei vedere migliorata è la testa di doccia che era di un standard che mi aspettavo di trovare in un motel di bilancio.

Il miglior test per il servizio clienti è probabilmente un ospite sfidato, e purtroppo le mie intolleranze alimentari mi mettono in questa categoria. Pepperes Marysville andò di sopra e di là, preparando una cena per la mia dieta molto limitata e facilitandomi a preparare il mio colazione. In teoria, non dovrebbe essere troppo difficile chiedere una cosa, ma probabilmente 8/10 volte l'assenza di attenzione in cucina causa problemi. Tutto vuole perfettamente bene a Peppers. Il loro personale era assolutamente affascinante e utile, andando sopra e oltre. La stanza era anche molto tranquilla e confortevole e io ho detto che le tariffe per le camere sono anche molto ragionevoli.

We had a 2 night stay at Chateau Yering as a catch up for old work colleagues. There were some initial problems ( very poor attitude and communication from one reception staff member who caused issues with our booking and meals ). These were quickly rectified quickly by Vince & his colleagues. He and the dark haired front of house person were excellent . So too were the restaurant and bar staff. However, the place is very very run down . It was very disappointing . The cost per night was $400 (inc breakfast only ). It is more expensive that the 5 star hotels in the city but is no where near the standard. It is the frayed couches, worn out mechanics and dated interiors that results in the place not making the grade any longer and needs a huge revamp . The computers were not working the entire time we were there despite many staff doing their best to repair the system . It meant that staff were diverted from doing their proper roles and the service suffered as a result ( I stress staff were not to blame but were in fact trying their hardest to sort out ongoing problems that were just beyond their control). We ordered the degustation menu with matching wines . As a result of staff being called to do other roles i.e.fix computer system, our wines did not match the course and arrived late , leaving us with cold food while we waited for the wine . Further , the TV in my room did not work properly, I also felt that the breakfast was a disappointment. Usually I would expect a buffet of fruit, cereal , juice, toast and bakery items and then also have a hot selection to order as part of the breakfast ( the cost was listed as $35 pp) . However it was one section of breakfast item and one hot drink according to the menu .That was all. We were offered juice but it was unclear if this would be extra or included . A similar issue happened with the second coffee . There were no newspapers on the first day but some on the weekend day. The food was mostly very good especially from Eleanor's restaurant . A charcuterie board that we ordered was quite lean in the quantity and some of the meats were not very nice ( this was the order that was messed up ) and required additional items to be ordered . In short great staff ( except for the cranky blonde woman on reception ) , nice food that was a bit light on in serving sizes, but terrible surroundings .

We stayed in the luxury safari tent for (2) nights and had a wonderful time. Even in the midst of Winter the tent was very warm. With a nice, comfortable bed, great pillows, sizeable room and a view across the vineyards, it was fantastic. The I have to add, the wine tasting experience was fantastic. When we stayed last year the experience was awful, chaotic and unappealing. Balgownie have done a complete 180 here and now it’s a highlight! Good on you for recognising the deficiency, remedying it and delivering a great product. It was truly the highlight for us.
