We always stay at the Lion & Key when we visit London and have been fortunate enough to stay here again in October, December, and also January for my husbands 80th birthday. This really is the ”Savoy” of the small hotels in London and we always know without fail, we will have the most perfect stay. All the staff genuinely care about their guests having the best experience and you cannot fault the care and attention to detail that this hotel takes to ensure an excellent customer experience. They have a great team of which we would like to thank Giorgio, Kanti and Stephania for making all our visits a home away from home. The rooms and also public areas in the hotel are kept pristinely clean and are bright and cheerful. I love the attention to detail this hotel has even with the smallest thing. i.e. the shower cap in the bathroom also has a small hairband in the box ,which is excellent if you have long hair and can’t find your own! The beds are also extremely comfortable and we both always have an excellent night sleep. We love the open kitchen where you can see all the food being freshly prepared and cooked to order. They are very generous with their breakfast time which doesn’t end until 12 o’clock lunchtime. The choice and range that they offer in their restaurant, regardless of breakfast or main meals throughout the day would accommodate even the most fussiest eaters, which I am, but even I am extremely spoilt for choice as the breakfast menu is so comprehensive. The quality of the ingredients used in the restaurant is first class and so is the time and care in presentation which also reflects the pride that they take. We can honestly say that the breakfast’s we have at the L&K are the most tastiest, freshest, consistently perfect breakfast’s we have ever had and far exceed the quality that we have experienced over the years in 4 & 5 star hotels. To be honest, we often wonder how they continuously provide such care and attention to detail for the customer, even more so since Covid as many many hotels and restaurants seem to still use this as an excuse for a less than perfect service or menu range. We must’ve had over 100 of breakfasts since we have been coming here in 2018 and the eggs are always perfectly cooked with a lovely orange yolk, regardless of whether it’s a normal full English breakfast, or my husbands favorite the Egg Royale. We very rarely eat sausages or bacon at home, but the quality and taste of the ones here are amazing, so we always, always enjoy our breakfast which set us up for exploring all day. The transport links to this hotel are excellent as well. There are four buses that go past the hotel to Leyton underground, one of which is running 24 hours and they seem to come by every few minutes. Stratford is only four stops from Leyton so excellent connections for overground, DLR, O2 etc. Liverpool Street is the next stop along for even more connections so the location we find is a great asset to wherever we

Uno dei migliori hotel del gruppo Marriott in cui sia mai stato. La mia famiglia è stata molto benvenuta. L'unica preoccupazione riguarda gli ascensori. Era sempre pieno, impiegando molto tempo per il tuo turno.

Camere molto spaziose e personale disponibile, abbiamo depositato i bagagli in hotel per mezza giornata dopo il check out e il nostro volo era notturno. Hanno organizzato un taxi per venirci a prendere all'aeroporto e sono arrivati ​​presto e l'autista era super gentile.

Ho prenotato questo viaggio per il mio compleanno finanziario. L'hotel è obsoleto di cui eravamo a conoscenza e non ci sono problemi, ma se stai cercando qualcosa di moderno non è il posto che fa per te. Le porte dell'ascensore erano molto appiccicose e non sembravano aprirsi correttamente e avevano un cattivo odore. Check-in ok, siamo andati nella nostra camera che aveva il riscaldamento al massimo e la temperatura era di 39 °C. Abbiamo provato ad aprire la finestra ma era tenuta chiusa solo da una vite. Il letto era molto comodo per dormire, ma siamo rimasti solo una notte, quindi non era poi così male. La mattina dopo siamo stati disturbati dalle pulizie che entravano nella nostra stanza alle 8 del mattino salutando, poi uscendo rapidamente e poi passando l'aspirapolvere nei corridoi sbattendo i muri e la nostra porta. Ne abbiamo parlato alla reception, ma siamo stati accolti da un membro del personale scortese che ha indicato un'altra signora e poi se ne è andato. La signora dietro la scrivania ha detto che parlerà di nuovo con le pulizie, quindi sembra che questo accada spesso. Abbiamo quindi deciso di andare a fare colazione e ci è stato detto che costavano 15 a testa! Apparentemente al momento del check-in è possibile acquistare la colazione a una tariffa scontata di £ 12,50 ma nessuno ce l'ha detto o offerto al momento del check-in. Abbiamo deciso di andare altrove a fare colazione. Nel complesso abbiamo trascorso un buon viaggio a Londra ma non consiglieremo questo hotel né ritorneremo mai più. Vorrei aver speso un po' di più e andare in un hotel migliore.

Questo hotel è in una posizione buona, in prossimità della stazione Custom House con accesso alla linea Elizabeth. Abbiamo anche usato la macchina via cavo da North Greenwich. Ci sono diversi negozi di notte tardi e alcune vasche da pranzo fuori. La camera doppia è compatta con una camera limitata nel bagno, poiché siamo entrambi sotto il 5’5 e il piccolo non era molto di un problema, ma potrebbe essere difficile spostarsi se siete più grandi. Il personale era amichevole e lavorava duramente per mantenere l'hotel pulito e tempestivo.

Ho soggiornato per 3 notti ed è un bel posto in cui soggiornare. Sono rimasto sorpreso dal fatto che non servissero la parte calda della colazione inglese, quindi ho dovuto accontentarmi di pane tostato, prosciutto, formaggio e tacchino. Buona posizione. L'hotel è situato proprio accanto a Tesco e alla fermata dell'autobus per la stazione ferroviaria di Barking. Anche il servizio di pulizia della camera era eccezionale. Il riscaldamento nella mia stanza potrebbe fare di meglio. A volte non sentivo alcun calore. Nel complesso, lo consiglio vivamente per un viaggio economico.

La zona della stanza può anche essere, ma il rumore dell'aria condizionata è troppo grande, che influenza un po'il riposo. La colazione non è buona per parlare di abbondante. Il salone ha più alcolici di notte. Il parcheggio all'hotel è molto grande. C'è un grande ristorante locale britannico intorno a 15 minuti a piedi. La torta è molto deliziosa. C'è una buona strisce di pesce fritto dietro l'hotel per 15 minuti, un pesce e un po'di salsa Una stringa sembra circa 12 chili, e la quantità è molto grande.
