My buddies and I took a weekend to go fishing and boating. The front desk staff was nice and told us of other things we could do in the Walker area and places to eat. Being able to park the boat at the docks was a huge plus. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we didn't have any noise issues. We plan on coming during the winter sometime to go ice fishing because everything was great including the fishing.

I called to ask about the food and the setting of the dinner. I was reassured the area was not busy until 6:30 and they offered a wide verity of food selections. I was also told they do not take reservations. Our friends got there at 5:00. We waited several minutes for someone to seat us. The sound from the bar was deafening! Several young men yelled again and again. Others had to talk louder just to be heard. The food was bar like. Whwn I called ahead,I was told they had a wide variety. No choice of potatoes. (?) Service good. However, a party that came after us got their food far earlier than we did.

The front desk is VERY nice, the problem is they don’t follow through. There is NO maid service. You wants an extra towel - go to the front desk and get it. You want your trash can emptied - put it out in the hall. You want an ice bucket? Well, there aren’t any. You want a soap dish - they are out of those too. This is a $250 a night hotel - I was shocked at the lack of services. The pool was dirty - maintenance did come to fix our tv. The coffee maker didn’t work….I would not recommend staying here.

We have been visiting Walker for many years as we have family who own a cabin in the area. We have a large family reunion every two years and this year was my family who were responsible for hosting it. We originally made our reservation block under the previous ownership and then after it was sold, I reached back out worried that everything was lost. Israel was SO accommodating and helpful, ensuring everything stayed as it was and we had the room block we originally had. Fast forward to our stay and the accommodations were EVERYTHING!! The ballroom for the weekend for our family activities, to the pool and beach, to the onsite 502 Restaurant, you can see how much effort Israel puts into his hotel and making a new name for itself! Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed the reunion weekend and everything about Chase on the Lake (and downtown Walker). I'm pretty sure the next family to host has already made the decision to come back here again! Thank you again for everything Israel and the entire staff, you made our weekend a memorable one!

We just returned to the cities after a very disappointing July 4 weekend at Chase on the Lake. Location of Chase is fabulous -- however, it's time for an update to the condo accommodations. And the cleaning staff either needs to be trained or fired. Dark brown carpet is nasty and in need of replacement. Bathroom sink drained slowly after hand washing or brushing teeth. Goldfish crackers and empty soda cans underneath the bed and sofa (did they even vacuum between guests?). There were smudged fingerprints on the refrigerator and the sliding glass door. No soap dishes in shower or in bathroom. Toilet seat was broken and slid when you sat down. Would be nice to have counter-height bathroom counters. Our meal at 502 was horrendous. Terribly slow with drinks and food came out individually instead of for the entire table. (Walleye cakes were excellent, BTW, however bc everyone had finished eating, I took them to go to eat in the room). We paid ~$1700 for 5 nights. Cleanliness should have been a given rather than a nice to have. Will likely not return to the Chase.

Here is our quick honest review. *bedding not changed very obvious with hair all over * bathroom not cleaned, hair all over. Called they came with new sheets, and kind of wiped the bathroom. Hair still all over. Cleaned it ourselves. *502 restaurant breakfast buffet in the morning was cold $$$ *copper door spa by Chase Aveda salon. Had two massages they were excellent! Showers had mold did not use. *502 restaurant, ordered two chocolate martinis very poorly made. Cleanliness is poor.

Our son and daughter in law got married here last weekend and I can't say enough good things about the new owner and staff! They were wonderful to work with and made sure things went smoothly. Many guests commented on how great the food was! They are in the process of remodeling the rooms, which will only add to the atmosphere. The location is ideal. Close to restaurants and shopping.

We had a great time and an awesome king room with balcony over looking walker bay. We met the new owner was very helpful and friendly. Dealt with the staff the 3days we were there and everyone was super nice. Talked with head maintenance man and he said they are remodeling the rooms in the hotel should even be better than the room we stayed in which we thought was very nice and comfortable. They have clothes and different things for sell at front desk and a grab and go breakfast. That was a plus for us that we enjoyed very much. It was a great place to stay and we will stay again when we get a chance.

The location is superb and the lake view is divine. The room did not have any charging ports. We were looking forward to dining at the 520 Restaurant but the dining room was closed. I booked on-line through Kayak, but I was concerned when the actual booking was through Agoda, a company that was unfamiliar to me. I called the hotel directly who confirmed that I had a reservation and that they use Agoda. They then said the rate was too low and that they had difficulties with Agoda and with “ghosting” sites. We exchanged phone calls, emails, and spoke in-person with the Front Desk. They were always polite but seemed to indicate this was my problem not theirs and that I owed the difference in prices. I watched my charges carefully and ultimately I was only charged by Agoda for the on-line quoted amount.
